Chapter 110: A Horrible Secret
An hour later, Lucas had picked up Khloe and drove back to Garcia Entertainment. Khloe had skipped off to her father’s office as soon as they arrived home, and Lucas slugged off to Kylie’s room, not at all excited about what he would face. Seeing her door open and Kylie lounging on the sofa, Lucas stomped inside.
“Kylie, why the fuck did you leave me at the airport? I am your agent now!” Kylie was casually lying while eating watermelon.Contentt bel0ngs to N0ve/lDrâ/ma.O(r)g!
“Gosh, who are you yelling at Lucas? Chill, buddy!” Kylie replied in a peaceful voice. She wanted to piss him off.
“You, I’m talking about you!” Lucas stood in front of Kylie with his arms crossed, looking very much like a parent standing in front of a rebellious child.
“Don’t flatter yourself since you’re becoming a little popular…” Lucas smirked when he saw Kylie’s angry glare. He successfully takes his revenge on this little demon. Lucas knew how stubborn Kylie was.
“Oh, I’m not flattering myself, don’t you worry about me,” Kylie replied. “Here,” Kylie then threw a file towards Lucas. “Maybe I’ll flatter myself after you read this.”
Lucas rolled his eyes, thinking it was another one of tricks. As he laid eyes on the contents inside the file, he stopped dead in his tracks. “This… How could you… How did you get this…”
Kylie remained in the comfortably lazy position on the sofa and spared a cold glance to Lucas, “Can’t believe those are your type. So when do you plan to come out of the closet, Harry?”
Lucas’s face turned pale and ashen at the thought of these pictures released on social media. How the hell had Kylie found out about this? No one, absolutely no one knew this! His gaze flew to Kylie. How could she get all this information?
“If you do not show respect to me from now on, I’ll let everyone know your little secret,” Kylie said while laughing at Lucas’s expression.
Lucas, who was still in shock, glared at Kylie with hatred and a little fear. How on earth had Kylie obtained these pictures? Every detail about his and each of his boyfriends’ backgrounds was printed in the file! He Can’t believe that Kylie is capable of finding his horrible secret. But how?
“Sorry for the shock, Lucas, but I would not do this if you had nothing to do with the shit Khloe pulled on me. You deserve this, and don’t blame me for that.” Kylie continued.
Lucas was too terrified to respond and simply swallowed, trying to alleviate the dry feeling in his mouth. Seeing no other option, Lucas walked towards the sofa and squatted in front of Kylie, grasping her hands.
“Kylie, I’m sorry. Please, forgive me. My life will be ruined if anyone else sees these pictures! I swear to you, from now on, there will be no one else but you. I will be loyal to only you! But for God’s sake, please don’t release these pictures!” Lucas begged.
Kylie tilted her head and watched the man who was, ten minutes before, yelling at her now groveling at her feet, literally.
Kylie sat up, yanked her hands away from Lucas, and replied, “Okay, fine.” Kylie nodded. “From today, you’re my agent, and you will fulfill your responsibility as my agent. But if you try to scheme against me again, I’ll let you and your boyfriends pay for that…and trust me. That is not going to be pretty.” Kylie said calmly, but her eyes were sharp, totally controlling Lucas with her presence.
Lucas had known Kylie for many years, practically watched her as she grew older. He had never seen Kylie this determined; he had never seen that look before, which scared Lucas to hell.
“I know what to do. Please don’t worry.” Lucas asserted, eager to win Kylie’s preference. Kylie popped another piece of watermelon in her mouth, munching loudly. “So, what show have you got me this time?”
“Are… Are you going to take it?” Lucas responded in surprise.
Kylie nodded, “Just tell me the time of the shooting and the location.”
Lucas took a deep breath to recover from the previous crisis, “midnight after three days. On Thursday. Film and TV show base, This Lifetime.”
Kylie set aside the bowl and stood up, wiping her face daintily, a stark contrast from the way she was eating her watermelon.
“I have another question for you, my dear Lucas. Did Khloe tell you to turn down all my job invitations?”
Lucas was speechless as Kylie had expected. “If you haven’t lost your reason yet, you should know it would be wiser for you to follow me instead of Khloe. Since actors who behave immorally don’t go far in America, Khloe’s future isn’t hard to perceive. Just look at Weinstein, for example. The truth comes out one way or another.” Lucas looked at this confident young woman standing in front of him, clearly seeing the difference between Kylie and Khloe. The latter had already set up her fake “pure and innocent” image while the former was becoming more and more popular on her sheer talent alone.
In this invisible war, Khloe had played the weak card, but Kylie had used that advantage and had grown more undeniably charming amid criticism. Having witnessed the ups and downs in the entertainment circle, Lucas made a sheer wise decision on the spot.
“You definitely have my loyalty,” Lucas said in response solemnly.
Kylie glanced at him with satisfaction and started walking out of her room when she stopped suddenly and warned, “Be more cautious about your recent behaviors. If anyone else finds out your secret, I don’t guarantee I could rescue you.”
The implication behind Kylie’s words was quite clear. If the paparazzi caught Lucas, Kylie would not risk her fame to save him. When Kylie left the room, Lucas sighed down heavily on the bed. How had the tables turned against him? He could not have imagined that once Kylie began to fight back, she would be untamable. This girl was a tiger, and she had been unleashed.
