You More Than Anything In The World

Chapter 1306 Am I Meddling Too Much

Chapter 1306 Am I Meddling Too Much

Arissa glared at him. “You're still defending them, even though they messed with your body!”

“Am I not fine? If you're worried about me, why not...” Benjamin leaned in and whispered a few words in her ear.

Arissa's ears instantly turned red before she rolled her eyes at him.

His antics actually managed to dispel her anger.

“I can't let them off that easily!” she said.

“I agree! I'm all ears. What do you want to do?” Benjamin agreed with her.

Arissa pouted, glanced at him, then turned her gaze toward the children. The little ones were all shivering as they looked at her.

It was supposed to be a happy day, but their good mood was completely ruined.

“Speak up. Will you accept your punishment?” Arissa questioned.

The children, having admitted their mistake, nodded in unison. “We accept the punishment!”

“How do you want to be punished?” Arissa only stared at them, letting them choose for themselves.

The children exchanged glances, then looked at Arissa and Benjamin. Subsequently, they obediently moved to the corner of the room, voluntarily standing there as a form of self-punishment.

Seeing everyone looking downcast, Arissa let out a sigh.

“Mommy, can we stand in the corner as punishment? If this doesn't satisfy you, you can give us another spanking!” Turning back, Zachary said to her, but he was serious.

“It hurts my hand to spank you all!” Arissa's suppressed anger flared up again.

Benjamin was amused and went along with her. He seriously said to Zachary, “Stand properly.”

Zachary turned back, joining everyone in reflecting on their mistakes.

“All right, it's just a small matter. Don't be upset. I can't bear to see you upset!” Benjamin sat by the bed, comforting Arissa in his arms.

“You didn't mention it was a minor issue when you went to the restroom?” Arissa retorted. NôvelDrama.Org owns all content.

Benjamin felt a bit awkward. He was feeling unwell earlier, so he had no mood to care about anything else. “There's still plenty of food left. Would you like to eat more?”

Arissa snorted in response. “Go ahead and eat if you want. You've finished your business, haven't you?”

The edges of Benjamin's lips twitched. His stomach was indeed empty, but her words had effectively killed his appetite.

“I bought this for you, but it's a bit cold right now. Let me heat it up for you before you eat!” He grabbed

the boxed meal and stood up to reheat it.

Arissa watched him bustling about, then looked at the children standing off to the side being punished. She wondered if she had lost her temper too much.

“It's done. I can't eat that much!” Benjamin smiled and repositioned himself in front of her.

He then picked up his fork to feed her. “Open your mouth!”

As she gazed at his handsome face, Arissa opened her mouth and ate.

After Benjamin had fed her a bit, Arissa stopped him. “You should eat too!”

Benjamin raised an eyebrow, glanced at her, and took a bite.

“When I punished Gavin in the past, he would also mess with me! What happened today is nothing special, so don't be mad at them anymore.” Benjamin lowered his voice and explained it to her.

The children were mischievous, and he had to discipline them quite a bit. However, it was all give and take, so the children never went too far.

“Are you saying I'm being nosy?” Arissa looked at him with a fake smile.

Benjamin's eyes glinted. He chuckled and said, “No. educating them is our responsibility as parents!”

Arissa chuckled, too lazy to argue with him about that.

“Come on, eat more! Once you're done, I'll take the kids home! That way, you won't have to be bothered by them!” Benjamin teased her.

“I feel annoyed just by looking at you. Why don't you go stand in the corner too?” Arissa retorted, chewing vigorously as if she was eating his flesh.

“I can do it, but are you willing to let me? My stomach still doesn't feel well!” Benjamin played up his discomfort.

Arissa glanced at him and chuckled. “Serves you right!”

If she knew he'd stop her from scolding the children, she would've refrained from calling Shaun over.
