Chapter 14 Very beautiful
“Wow, you two’s words are so cruel, but I’ll pay you back.” Selgie said
“Yeah… that’s how it should be… make that guy crazy about you.” Melissa agreed with what Selgie said.
“Melissa you are very supportive of me, after this you must not regret and want Kelvin to be yours… Because he is mine.”
Selgie narrowed her eyes at Melissa.
Melissa was silent for a while,
“That’s not going to happen… I have a partner anyway,” Melissa tried to reassure Selgie.
“Melissa, you had a partner but didn’t tell us?”
Selgie was curious who Melissa’s partner was.
The girl had never told her about a guy she liked. This content belongs to Nô/velDra/ma.Org .
Melissa burst out laughing, suddenly Diana and Selgie looked at each other and then turned to Melissa who had now stopped laughing.
“Of course I already have a partner, since we were tadpoles in our parents’ stomachs, because God created humans in pairs. And I already have a partner. Although I don’t know who my partner will be yet, I’m sure the person who will be my partner will be a wealthy person.”
Selgie and Diana, who had been seriously listening to Melissa’s talk, now just shook their heads.
It sounded like a joke.
“I thought what you said was true, but it turned out to be a joke,” Selgie said.
“Forget what Melissa said, we better finish this assignment and I’ll take you both to Grandma’s house, then I’ll show you the beautiful lake when we get there,” Diana said as she took out the equipment needed for the group project.
Selgie paused for a moment when she heard the word beautiful lake, her mind was reminded of the lake she had encountered in the middle of the forest.
The lake really calmed her heart, she wanted to see the lake again, but unfortunately her courage was lacking.
There was no way he could go there again, even he thought his life would float in the middle of the forest.
He couldn’t find his way back, until he finally lost consciousness in the forest.
But his curiosity to get out of the forest then suddenly he was in his room, as if the beautiful lake was just a dream for him. But the dream was very real.
Selgie was very curious and that’s why she wanted to see the beautiful lake again, but unfortunately it was impossible.
“What are you going to do at your grandmother’s house? Doesn’t your grandmother live with your mother?” Melissa asked.
“I wish it was like that, but unfortunately grandma is very stubborn. She doesn’t want to live with my mom at all. And now my mom told me to deliver the vegetables that grandma was going to cook, because she couldn’t come today.” Diana explained to Melissa and Selgie.

Throughout the trip, Melissa and Diana did not stop babbling. They kept talking about many things and kept laughing, with Selgie joining in occasionally.
The three girls walked hand in hand on a very quiet road, it was already afternoon, but the sun still looked beautiful shining on the earth.
The wind hit the faces of the three girls with different hair shapes, because the wind made their hair look like it was flying.
Selgie looked the most striking among her two friends, Selgie’s beauty was perfect in the area where she lived, no one could rival her beauty even at school.
Selgie’s eyes rounded when Diana invited her to enter the path that she had traveled when entering the forest.
When Kelvin made her heart feel like it was pierced by thousands of needles.
“Diana! Are you sure the way to your grandmother’s house goes through this forest?” asked Selgie, trying to ascertain if Diana had forgotten the way to her grandmother’s house.
“Of course I remember, how could I forget the way to grandma’s house… I haven’t set foot in grandma’s house for a long time. You don’t have to be afraid of getting lost, it won’t happen. From the outside it looks scary like a jungle, but if we enter and keep walking inside, it won’t look like a jungle.” Diana tried to reassure her two friends.
Melissa gripped Selgie’s hand tightly, she had never been in a place like the one she saw now, which made her quite scared, but she didn’t show it to her friends.
“Well, then we’ll be on our way,” Selgie said curiously, wondering if Diana was referring to the beautiful lake she had seen. So Selgie was eager to arrive and see what Diana would show her.
Selgie was surprised to see several worn-out houses lined up along her path with only a few meters of distance between them.
Selgie was confused, as she couldn’t remember the houses in her mind.
Now that they were in such a quiet countryside, why didn’t she know about this place.
The three of them started walking back to Diana’s grandmother’s house.
It didn’t take long to reach her house.
Selgie couldn’t believe what she was seeing. The old lady should have been accompanied by someone at least a little younger than her, so that nothing untoward could happen.
Diana started walking with Selgie and Melissa again, towards the lake she had told them about.
“Wow… this is amazing, so beautiful,” Melissa murmured
Selgie couldn’t believe what she saw before her eyes.
It turned out that the incident the other day was not just a dream, but a reality.
This was the lake she had found earlier, but she was on the other side of it.
This seemed so ridiculous as Selgie recalled the incident, where she tried to find a way out of there, but never succeeded until it was getting late.
Selgie looked up at the sky, the sunlight was beginning to fade.
“I think we should get out of here.”
Selgie led her two friends home.
“What you said is true Selgie, we better go now.”
The three of them quickly walked away from the lake.
Walking without saying much, they felt that the journey home seemed longer than when they came from the old lady’s house to the lake.
The wind blew over the grass.
It made the trees twitch.
As dusk turned to night, Selgie hugged her body tightly with both hands.
Her body was frozen to the core, as the strong wind chilled her.
