Passion 57
"Kiki Torres, the heiress of the Torres family, and Ms. Snyder were college classmates. Ms. Torres traveled abroad after she graduated. She returned to the country shortly after Ms. Snyder did.
"From what I found out, Ms. Torres has a crush on a man in their class named Leonard Cook. I suspect that the reason she asked Ms. Snyder to attend the blind date in her stead was because of Mr. Cook. "Avery relayed everything he had found out to Tristan.
Tristan's eyes were unreadable. He changed into a fresh set of clothes and went downstairs, where he found Xavier and Daphne standing together, looking like a match made in heaven.
He hesitated for a moment before deciding not to tell Xavier what had happened earlier that day.
Meanwhile, Yvette received a call from Kiki, who sounded dejected, in Mansions Nine. "I'll be home tonight, Yvvy."
"How did it go? Did you find him?" Yvette asked.
Kiki felt a lump form in her throat. "Yeah, I found him." She paused before continuing, "But he's seeing someone now. It's over between us."
Yvette was at a loss for words; she had no idea how to comfort Kiki. Kiki changed the subject. "How did the blind date go? I hope the guy didn't give you a hard time."
"It's a long story," Yvette looked out the window at the setting sun. I'll come over tonight to see you and Zac. We can talk then."
"Alright."
When Kiki returned home that evening, she masked her disappointment and never brought Leonard up again.
Yvette and Zachary, being considerate, didn't ask about him either. Instead, Yvette filled her in on the blind date earlier that day.
"Tristan? I had no idea it would be him. I should've asked my dad. before asking you to go in my stead." Kiki sighed.
"I'm just worried that he might get back at you," Yvette confessed.
Kiki shrugged it off. "He's a grown ass man. Would he stoop that low to pick on two of us?"
"I used to think so too, but Tristan would do anything for Daphne." Yvette had never seen him as a gentleman.
While reading a book, Zachary listened in on their conversation and quietly uploaded the picture of Tristan he had taken earlier to the internet. All rights © NôvelDrama.Org.
just a few moves from him, the internet went into a frenzy the following morning.
There was a headline on the top trending news that read, "Wealthy Scion Tristan Shaw Wets Himself After Getting Drunk." There was an image attached below the headline..
It was the picture Zachary had taken the night before, showing Tristan walking through the hotel with his pants soaked in red wine.
When Kiki woke up and checked her phone, she stumbled upon the news in an instant. "Yvvy, check this out!" She burst out laughing." Is this karma, or what? Serves him right!" "Whoever did this is gutsy," Yvette remarked, equally shocked.
In Tristan's office, his face was as dark as coal.
Avery stood beside him and anxiously reported, "We've already taken down the post."
"Who the hell did it? Have you found out yet?" Tristan looked up at him, rage flashing in his dark eyes. He had never been so humiliated.
Wetting himself after getting drunk? "When I find out who did this, I'll beat them up until they wet themselves," he snarled.
Avery shook his head. "No, the person who posted it used a fake IP address. Our men checked first thing this morning and found nothing."
Tristan's face hardened. It seemed like he would have to swallow this bitter pill this time. "I don't want to see this kind of trending topic again. Understood?" "Yes, sir."
At the same time, Zachary woke up and turned on his laptop, only to find that all news about Tristan had been removed from the search results.
