True Fated Marriage (Grace and Heinz)

Chapter 2269

Chapter 2269

Both of them were at sixes and sevens.

Sebastian was even stunned, and he gazed at that lady.

Claudia's jaw dropped, and she did not know what to say.

From the looks of it, the lady's words seemed to make sense.

Indeed, they might probably be a pair of quarrelsome lovers.

It was just that Claudia was worn out then. She did not want to continue to be in love with a young guy like Sebastian because it was exhausting. This belongs © NôvelDra/ma.Org.

She was mentally and physically exhausted, feeling that if she continued, she might not be able to do anything else well.

She might as well sever her ties with him in a trice and not think about anything. Just focusing on her career might be a better choice for her.

After all, she was still young and had not reached the age when she had to be in a romantic relationship.

"Madam, you can say whatever you want, but now that you also think that we aren't scammers, when the police arrive later, they will definitely clarify this issue," Claudia said, "I'm not going to keep going on about my relationship with this little guy anymore."

"Are you going to give up?" The lady sighed with a little regret. "If you give up like this, wouldn't your previous efforts be wasted? You should have persisted for a long time, right?"

Claudia took a deep breath. "Just get over it. Don't bring it up again. It'll be bad to trouble him."

"Girl, I think that you really should be braver and more persistent. Sometimes, good thing will only happen in the right timing."

"No." Claudia shook her head determinedly. "I'm tired. I don't want to waste any more time."

Seeing Claudia's firm refusal, Sebastian's brow was knitted deeply, and there was an apparent look of rage on his countenance. He then glared at her.

Meeting his gaze, Claudia cracked a smile and shrugged while saying, "Sebastian, you really don't have to be so scared of me. I used to like you a little, but I don't like you now. We'll be mere acquaintance in the future. Don't think too much about it."

After she told him everything candidly, she would not feel awkward anymore.

That was how Claudia had been thinking right then. In her mind, in such way, he then would not pour scorn on her.

"Humph!" Sebastian gave a cold and satirical snort.

"Why are you snorting? If you have any objection or opinion, you can say it out loud directly. There's no need to be surly. I don't know what you mean by snorting. Why don't you just say it straight from the shoulder?" It wasn't that Claudia could not discern his snarky tone, but she just felt that it happened for no reason.

She wondered why he was behaving so.

"Girl, you don't understand, do you?" The lady said again, "This lad just wants to hear from you that you'll continue liking him. Don't you notice it? He is enraptured by the fact that you like him, and he was still indulging himself in it. When you said suddenly that you are not going to like him anymore, he can't stand it. Don't you understand this kind of emotional blow?"

Claudia did not see it coming. She looked at Sebastian. "Is what she said true?"

"No," Sebastian answered in a deep voice.

"Lad, you look bad when you are arrogant and refuse to admit it. Why can't you admit it? For a boy who can't even admit that there's a girl he likes, what do you think he's able to accomplish?" The woman tried to persuade him patiently. "You'd better be braver and just admit it directly." "Shut up," Sebastian replied.

The lady shrugged. "Well, someone is going to fly off the handle just because I've told the truth."

Claudia could not help but to giggle.

No matter what, Claudia was delighted at the lady's words toward Sebastian. It made her feel much better.

Meanwhile, the police arrived.

"Who called the police?"

"Officer, it was me who called the police." The lady waved her hand and explained briefly what had happened.

Sebastian also handed Claudia's police ID to the policeman. "This is her police ID."

Hearing that there was a police ID, the policeman was also a little surprised. He took it over and had a careful look at it. After that, he said to Claudia, "It turns out to be a misunderstanding."

"Yes, this lady had been saying that my police ID is fake. No matter how I explained it, she kept considering it to be a counterfeit. Now that it's proven to be real, I can finally be relieved."

"Madam, this police ID is real." The policeman explained to the lady, "We can assure you on that."

"Well, I also found out later that it might be a misunderstanding. I'm sorry for letting you come here in vain."

After a simple explanation, the policeman left.

The lady also left.

Only Claudia and Sebastian stayed there. They faced each other, and their eyes met.

Sebastian gave another snort.

Claudia frowned and said, "It's been so long. Do you still intend to go over my place?"

"You've been trying so hard to stop me from going there. How can I let you have your way?"

It was obvious that Sebastian still wanted to go there.

Speechless, Claudia could only reply, "Fine, let's go."

"Didn't you want to go to the restroom? After all this, do you no longer need to do it?" Sebastian noticed that she was not going to the restroom anymore, thus he said so deliberately.

"I'm not going anymore. I was so livid just now that my piss had been held back." Claudia did not care about her image whatsoever. She just spoke vulgarly, which made Sebastian speechless.

How could she blurt out something like that? He wondered if she was really a girl.

However, her straightforward manner showed her true character, and it made her more eye-catching to Sebastian.

When Claudia heard that he was going to follow her to her place, she shouted at him angrily, "What are you looking at? Have you never seen a beauty?"

Sebastian opened his mouth in incredulity. "Beauty? You? Are you kidding me?"

"If I'm not a beauty, then you're either blind or just like the lady said,

very pretentious. You don't even

have the guts to admit that I'm'

beauty Can you be considered a man?" Claudia growled at him with dissatisfaction.

Furrowing his brow, he was about to retort, but Claudia interrupted him by saying, "Oh, forgot. Indeed, you aren't a man. At most, you are a boy.

Since you are a boy, you have no guts. Of course, some men have no guts either. It depends completely on the disposition."

The insinuation of Claudia's words was pretty plain. She meant that even if he became a man in the future, he would still be untrustworthy.

It was a spiteful remark, which made Sebastian's blood boil.

He strode forward and was ready to get the cake, intending to go and have a look at Claudia's place.

He wanted to spend the whole noon by her side.

After getting the cake, they walked out of the dessert shop.

Claudia was holding two bags in her hands. It struck her all of a sudden that she did not have to carry them by herself.

She handed them directly to Sebastian.

"Hold them."

"Why should I do that?" Sebastian had already been holding a cake in his hand.

"This is to inculcate manliness in you. You should thank me for grooming you to be a better man in the future, little boy."
