The Supreme Man: Took Everything in Power

Chapter 946 Are You Looking For Trouble?!

Chapter 946 Are You Looking For Trouble?!

"How is it not?" Kingsley asked as he drove. "I'm already nice to him for not sending people to capture him and instead personally go to him."

Yulia sneaked a tongue out. "Kingsley, you're really different from before. There's a… special kind of aura about you."

"What kind of aura?" He smiled. "Could it be a noble aura, like Reene?"

She shook her head. "It's a… somewhat menacing feeling." All content is property © NôvelDrama.Org.

Her words stumped Kingsley. He thought he had restrained himself enough in front of Yulia, so how could she still sense a menacing aura?

After some thought, he came around. Just like those who smoke, they wouldn't notice the lingering smell. However, a non-smoker would immediately detect it.

Yulia had always been a kind and gentle girl; she had probably never even fought before. Naturally, she would easily perceive the hostility emanating from him.

Kingsley scratched his head. "Yulia, over the years, I've killed countless enemies on the battlefield. It's inevitable that I will carry some of the battlefield with me."

"That's alright. No matter how you change, you're still my dearest brother." Yulia blinked and gently grabbed Kingsley's right hand. "In the future, you can live a peaceful and stable life with us."

Kingsley was deeply moved as he felt Yulia's warm, soft palm. It felt as if something was stuck in his throat, making his heart sore.

A peaceful and stable life?

With his great revenge still in progress and the Sweoya spies not completely dealt with, how could he live a peaceful and stable life?

However, these thoughts were not something he could share with Yulia.

Kingsley took a deep breath and forced a smile. "Alright, from now on, the eight of us will live a peaceful and stable life."

They continued their conversation and soon arrived near Sapphire Hollow in Cleapolis.

Sapphire Hollow was an artificial ancient town within the city limits of Cleapolis. Though it was referred to as an ancient town, in reality, it was a distinctive medieval-style shopping street.

There are very few tourists from outside the city who come here. Most visitors were locals who came to stroll and shop when they had free time.

The fact that the production crew chose to shoot here indirectly confirmed that Kendall's investment wasn't substantial.

Kendall invested mainly for amusement and, incidentally, to take advantage of the female actors in the crew. He had no sincere intention of creating a good production, and as a third-rate actor, River managed to secure the role of the male lead thanks to Kendall's support.

As Kingsley turned the car into Sapphire Street, they were stopped by several people. There was also a roadblock in the middle, making it impossible for vehicles to pass. As they approached, a car was in the process of making a U-turn and leaving.

Kingsley stopped the car, rolled down the window, and frowned. "What's going on?"

"You guys enter the town from the road behind. The entrance here has been closed off." A man in a production crew uniform approached, gesturing and explaining, "We're filming here. This street is

closed. You can enter from the road behind."

"Did you coordinate this with the management of the town?" Kingsley asked grimly.

"Why do you care?!" the man replied impatiently. "It's not like there isn't another road to get in. Why all the fuss?! Just leave!"

At that, Kingsley's brows locked into a deeper furrow. Evidently, this production crew only dared to act arrogantly in Cleapolis because of the Lawsons' support. Perhaps the managers of Sapphire Hollow couldn't do anything about them either.

Although there was another road to enter Sapphire Hollow after this one, it was narrow and led to the side gate. Not only would tourists have to walk a longer, inconvenient route, but they would also miss the main commercial street at the front gate.

Kingsley believed that the managers of Sapphire Hollow wouldn't want such a situation to occur either. They must've only allowed these people to create obstacles, for they were apprehensive of Lawson Group's influence.

With that in mind, Kingsley turned off the engine instead of turning around and leaving.

The man outside widened his eyes in response. "What, are you trying to cause trouble?!"
