Chapter 312
Chapter 312 Taking Office
They didn't care about Wallace Corporation's long-term success; they just wanted to make some quick cash, so they felt a new group of shareholders was necessary.
Just as Dale finished his announcement, the conference room door swung open. Samantha walked in, her slightly curled hair draped over her shoulders, giving her a more mature look compared to when she wore it in a ponytail. Dressed in her white blouse and a tailored suit jacket, she looked every bit the experienced professional.
Samantha confidently strode up to Dale with a document and pulled out the chair next to the chairperson's seat before sitting down calmly, with no sign of being upset with Dale. Turning her attention to the shareholders, she said, "Apologies for being late; I had to retrieve a document. Let's cut to the chase. I had my mother's lawyer summon you all here, so you should already know why I've come today."
The room was silent as Samantha continued, "As you know, my mother passed away recently. Before her death, she entrusted me with her company. However, I wasn't able to take over at the time after an accident three years ago. So, I temporarily left the company in Mr. Dale Wallace's hands. But now, three years later, I've recovered, and at twenty years old, I believe it's time for me to reclaim the company my mother left for me."
She paused for a moment, letting her words sink in. "I'm not here just to inform you that I'll be taking over Wallace Corporation as the new chairperson. I'm here to tell you that the company has officially changed hands. I, Samantha, am now the rightful chairperson of Wallace Corporation, the legitimate successor."
She then looked directly at the shareholders. "If any of you have objections, now's the time to speak. If you don't think I'm capable of leading this company, you're welcome to sell your shares and leave the company. I have no interest in working with shareholders or employees who don't listen.
"And I especially dislike those who conspire against me! So, I'm giving you five minutes to decide-either stay and support me as the new chairperson, or sell your shares and leave."
Samantha's bold words left the shareholders stunned.Content (C) Nôv/elDra/ma.Org.
The young woman radiated confidence and authority, making it hard to argue that she wasn't fit to lead. It was clear that she could manage Wallace Corporation if given the chance. While Samantha's confidence. unsettled those who had been plotting to oust Dale, it also provoked the greedier shareholders, who began to question her.
"Samantha, you're only two What makes you think you're qualified to be the chairperson of Wallace
Corporation? Is it just your arrogance and overconfidence?"
"Wallace Corporation needs a mature, steady hand like Dale's, not someone young and inexperienced like you. You haven't even finished college, and you've been out of the loop for three years. Why should we trust you to manage this company?"
"If you think we don't respect you, fine. But why should we give up the shares we bought with our own
you think you are to make such demands?"

Samantha met their questions with a cold, steady gaze. First of all, I don't believe being twenty means you can't lead a company. And secondly..."
