The Lawyer: Gave Me Sex Love Taste

KENDALL

ominick’s eyes were on me.

I felt them every time I smiled. Every time I faced my back toward him, feeling his gaze lower to my ass. Whenever I spoke closely to one of the girls and particularly when I danced.

His text had told me he was coming here tonight.

But I hadn’t anticipated how difficult it would be to see him and not be able to show him any love, to inhale the spiciness of his cologne even though I’d been searching for it in the air all night.

I tried so hard to keep my stare away, but he was a magnet.

His eyes, his demeanor, his presence-all of it was tempting me to get closer to him, to wrap my arms around his deliciously handsome neck that I had woken up kissing this morning.

That was what I really wanted-or to be sitting on his lap, or watching a movie in front of his fireplace, or tucked in his bed.

I would prefer any of that over the distance between us now.

And the drama that was scheduled to go down this evening.

Two of my costars, Asia and Monica, were angry with each other for sleeping with the same guy. Production had been poking both ladies about it all night, instigating an eruption.

Delilah had taken each of the girls into the restroom to tell them, every bit of the tell-all caught on camera.

It didn’t matter that neither girl even liked the guy; their emotions were on the verge of exploding.

But before the fight really got brewing, the staff wanted to make sure we all had plenty of alcohol in us, so there was potential for even more drama. Our VIP table was covered in bottles and mixers along with every kind of garnish, and now, there was a waitress pouring us shots of tequila.

She didn’t stop at one.

Once we downed the contents of the small glass, she’d immediately return to give us more. By the third shot, I could no longer feel my feet, but I knew my body was swaying to the beat, my butt grinding against the leather seat beneath me.

“Let’s go dance,” Erika, a costar, said, her fingers now linked with mine.

If I went out onto the dance floor to shake my ass, it would warm up Dominick for what I had planned for later tonight. We hadn’t talked about what we were doing after filming, but since he was here, there was no way I was going back to my apartment.

I needed him.

His mouth on every part of my body, starting with that sensitive place between my legs.

I looked at Erika and replied, “Ladies’ room first. Then, it’s on.”

“Hell yes, girl.”

With our arms now looped together, we got up from the couch, clinging to each other as we wobbled in our heels, hurrying toward the restroom.Content is © by NôvelDrama.Org.

I’d never been to this club before. I had no idea where the restrooms were located, but it appeared as though Erika did, and she led us toward the back of the VIP section.

The camera and lighting techs followed, knowing they had to wait outside until we were done.

The moment I walked in, I reached into my dress and turned off my microphone, and Erika and I released each other, going into our own stalls. That was where I worked my contortionist magic to hover over the bowl.

Erika and I came out at the same time, but I was sure she wasn’t shocked to see the person standing in front of the sinks, facing us.

Not like I was.

Daisy.

My entire body began to shake.

Even more so when the restroom door opened, the camera and lighting guys stepping inside.

What is she doing here? Why would she come into the restroom? Is she really going to start something in front of the cameras?

“Kendall, my dearest sister.” Her arms crossed, her butt now leaning against a sink. “Not returning my texts, not answering my calls. I had to come all the way here just to tell you how much I’ve missed you.”

She always wanted to seem like the good guy, especially when the cameras were pointed at her.

God, she was clever.

But I wasn’t going to let the world know our business. I wasn’t going to feed into her nonsense, her goading, regardless of how much I’d had to drink.

That was what she wanted, and I refused to cave.

Even if that pissed her off more.

I rushed forward, closing the distance between us, and threw my arms around her neck. “Daisy!” I shouted, like I would have months before. “Oh God, I’ve missed you so terribly much.”

Her hug was weak, and she pushed me away after a second. “Really? You could have fooled me; since you’ve gotten a taste of fame, you’ve been completely ghosting me.” Her expression was full of pain and agony. “I’ve needed you; you’re my best friend, and you haven’t been there for me. At all.” She wiped her eyes. “This show has made you so popular; it’s like you can’t be bothered with me anymore. Kendall, do you know how much that hurts?” She clutched her chest. “Oh God, it aches.” Her head dropped. “You went from being there for me every second, my person, even my assistant, to being way too good for me.” Her tone was so full of sadness that it was like I was squeezing her voice box.

No matter what I said, I would look like the bad one.

My truth wouldn’t justify the facade she was putting on. The fake tears she was shedding. The script she was reciting that she’d probably written in the car on the way over.

She wasn’t just mean.

She was vindictive.

“Daisy-” I started but was immediately cut off as the restroom door swung open, Dominick barging his way through.

The look on his face was lethal.

“I warned you,” he said to Daisy.

He warned her?

I had no idea what that meant, but I couldn’t believe he had come in here and risked being filmed even though they couldn’t air the footage because he wouldn’t sign a waiver. But he was still putting himself next to me, taking the chance of the crew and Erika finding out that I was more than just his client.

Daisy looked at him, seething but hiding behind her tears. “Kendall, your boyfriend doesn’t need to come rescue you. I was just purging my heart to you. I’ve done nothing wrong-unless you count needing my sister as a punishable offense.”

She hadn’t waited more than a second to out us.
