The Billionaire’s Creed

Chapter 70

MYKEL

Last night reminded me of how I had a great life with Adley. For the first time in weeks, I slept like a baby with my wife curling, clinging to me. I forgot how good sex was.

I poured out my feelings yesterday, and it paid off. I got my wife back, and I was back on track. As much as I loved to cuddle her, I couldn’t fall back to sleep.

I did a few lifting and setups. I was in the middle of my push-ups when I felt I wasn’t alone anymore.

“I’d love to see you butt naked while doing that.”

My lips curved into a wicked grin. “If you’re naked beneath me, I’d love to do a hundred more.” I rose to my feet. “Morning, beautiful.” I kissed her on her lips.

“You’re up early.”

“I was planning to take you from behind and then sleep again, but you were clinging to me, and I couldn’t do that unless I woke you up.”

“Silly.” She rolled her eyes, turning on her heels. “We’re Facetiming with Jax later, and then we’re visiting Grandpa.”

“What did I say about being spontaneous?”

“Last night wasn’t spontaneous enough to you?” I knew she was smiling. Even in her voice, I could hear it.

“Fair enough.” I followed her out of the mini-gym. Before we reached the kitchen, I grabbed her and pressed her against the wall, her hands up, wrists pinned over her head. I was sweaty, but I didn’t care.

“What are you doing?”

I pressed my cock into her pussy. “Why didn’t you want me to eat you last night?” I watched her pupils dilate. Flush blossomed on her already rosy cheeks.

She licked her lips before she spoke. “Because I was too excited. I missed you, and I wanted you so badly. Is my reason enough?”

“I still wanna eat you.”

“You’re so lewd.”

“You don’t mind in bed, though,” I smirked.

“As much as it is charming, I’m hungry for food, Mykel. Feed me, and then we can negotiate.”

I let her hands loose. “Now we’re talking.”

“Get a shower. You’re sticky, big guy.”

I hit the shower and had breakfast later. Then we were about to Facetime with Jax, but they were already calling.

“Baby, come on down here!”

Adley rushed to the living room. “Answer it.”

Jade first appeared on the iPad screen. Then my son. “Hey, guys!”

“Hi!” Jax was waving his hand.

“Hi, Jade. Hi, Jax!” Adley did the same. “How are you, guys?”

I was just blown away to see my son on the screen. I smiled as my heart melted with joy.

“We went out yesterday. I took him to the newly open park. He had so much fun. How are you doing, Adley? Everything is doing well over there?”

“Just the look on his face, I can tell he had so much fun. I’m doing great, and someone here next to me seems speechless.”Owned by NôvelDrama.Org.

I chuckled. “It seems so.”

Jade laughed on the screen. “Honey, before Facetime, you said you want to say something to Adley?”

Jax nodded, smiling timidly.

“Go on. Tell Adley what you wanna say.”

“Thank you for the toys.” I wasn’t even aware Adley sent some toys to my son. She already won the kid’s hearts with or without toys.

“Aw, honey. You’re welcome. Do you like them?”

“Yes.” He wasn’t looking at the camera anymore.

“Well, then. I’m happy, Jax. Do you wanna talk to your daddy?”

He then looked at the screen. “I missed you.”

I thought I just gasped. I blinked away the emotions impending to let out. “I missed you too, buddy. Don’t worry, I’m seeing you soon.”

“Have you seen New York?” Adley asked.

“He heard of it. I told him his daddy’s home, and work is in New York.”

“That’s great. How would you like to visit New York, Jax?”

He just smiled and nodded.

“Your mommy and I are gonna talk about this, okay?”

“Okay,” he replied.

“If it’s okay with your mommy, then you can come and visit and see amazing cars. Remember when I told you I have cars?”

“Yes.”

“Then I will show you, okay?”

“Okay.” He then ran away.

“I don’t mean to rush things, but if you’re interested, just let me know. I can book tickets for both of you. Has he traveled outside LA?”

“No. He literally just been around here. I’d love to take him there, though. Let me just arrange my schedule with my boss. I’ll let you know soon.”

“Let me call your head. I’ll make arrangements.”

“Please, don’t. I’m already hired because of your connections. I don’t wanna abuse it. Besides, I’m still new.”

“Can you call Jax, please? I wanna see him before we hang up,” Adley said.

“Honey, come here and say bye to Daddy and Adley.”

Jax appeared back and did some flying kisses.

“I love you, buddy. See you soon.” I waved bye.

“Thank you, Jade. See you both soon.” My wife did the same.

When the screen went blank, I squeezed Adley into a hug. “Thank you.”

“For what?”

“I didn’t know you sent toys to Jax.”

She pressed her lips into mine. “The least I could do to keep you for myself and be terribly jealous over a child.”

“You’re the best. You know that, right?”

“I bought a limited edition of Star Wars. You remind me of Anakin, and Grandpa is the Obi-wan.”

“So, I’m the bad guy?”

“Padawan, silly. I watched how your eyes sparkled when you looked at your son. Your billions can’t buy that kind of happiness, Mykel. I’m proud of you.”

“I love you, baby.”

“I’m sorry for not trusting-”

I pressed my finger to her lips. “No more apology, okay?”

“No more apology.”

The old man was in his favorite spot, on the patio, in front of a vast manicured lawn.

“How are you feeling, Grandpa?”

“How many times have you asked me this morning?” Lex turned his head to Adley.

“That’s not even funny. I’m still upset you did not tell me before you went to OR.”

“Well, I hate to break it to you, honey. But a lot of things I did that I didn’t tell you. Sit.”

Adley sat beside him. “You’re meaner. Is that the side effect of having a new kidney?”

Lex snorted. “How are you feeling?”

“I’m fine. Better than you, I guess.”

He then turned to me. “You are awfully quiet, Mykel.”
