Chapter 74
Alvira gives a cold and wicked glance to Elise, unconscious frame on the seat. She doesn’t care about what Raide wants; she is going to make sure Rygan doesn’t find out the truth from Elise
Alvira is more than brutal in ber decision: even her masked companion looks skeptical as they search around the forest; it is getting darker, and they aren’t supposed to be there after nightfall
The cold night loomed eerily as the masked dela bristled with fear of being in this part of the forest. “Is this alright, my lady? It would have been better if she faced death in the pack
than this
“Don’t you dare speak about my decisions; take her out now,” she snarls at the male servant He pulls Elise’s unconscious frame from the carriage, putting her to the ground. “Hurry!” Alvira’s voice echoes as the male rushes back in haste, feeling the air already changing.
With a whip to the two horses, they were off: they often used their horses when they wanted a quies journey and didn’t want to leave their trail or scent behind to be found a perfect crime.
The moment the delta had reached back into the pack with no one bearing witness to them coming in Alvira speared out her nails and struck him in the jugular, ripped out his throat, and placed him by Elise’s prison doors.
She quickly heads back to the pack; nothing is out of place as Alvira returns to the clinic, and Alvira is glad that her plan is coming together.
She heads home to see Kaide and her mother in the living area, waiting for her. His eyes are solemn with anger when he sees Alvira and her mother looks scared. “What are you doing here?”
He didn’t let her finish; he dealt a heavy smack to her cheeks; her skin throbbed from his assault: and even her mother could only let out a gasp. They all knew Kaide was quiet and hardly bothered about anything their family did, and never had he held a hand

With shaky hands and pupils already lined with tears, she looks up at her cousin, whose eyes are lined with fark–flamed rage, unlike anything she had seen before.
“What did I fucking tell you to do? Didn’t I tell you to take her to the rouge territories, that I would do what is best?”
“Because you were going to let her live!” Alvira cries, “I see the way your eyes softened when you looked at her; our plans had begun to falter in the long run, and you always came crawling back when she went back to Rygan’s arms to fuck him. I did it because if I let her live, it would come back to bite us in the ass,” she argues with gritted teeth.
“Kaide, that girl should not live. For the sake of this family, we are so close to ruling the throne; we know how much you’ve done to get us here.” Adeline states.
“And do you know what your daughter has done to get herself into this position?” He says that as she looks at Alvira, a flash of horror shows in an instant. She shakes her head slowly, silently begging him not to say anything he knows.
“If it’s about the child, I already know there isn’t any baby, but there will be chances to make a new heir, so let us think of the future and our plans now that she is gone for our lives,” Adeline concludes.
“So, what is the plan?” Alvira calls to Kaide, who is pacing around a raging vein filled with annoyance; she knows the exact look on his face when Kaide is thinking.
“For tonight, we lay low; we act like nothing is happening. I’ve tried my best to keep Taz from the prison, but he will be there by morning; let him have the first reaction to her going missing.” He instructs the Beddor females, who listen.Têxt belongs to NôvelDrama.Org.
“And where are you going?” Alvira asked him as she moved to the door.
“To write a letter,” he says curtly before he leaves.
The meeting from last night had gone very badly, almost resulting in Rygan having a rampage–not until they agreed to let Elise live, but she would be banished. Rygan had threatened he would leave with her, and they all watched in shock as their alphas resolved.
Taz had
spent
the night trying to talk and plan with Rygan; they made a plan to get Elise out by morning since Kaide had informed them the prison would be less guarded by dawn.
And just like Kaide predicts, Tazmin makes his way to the prison before dawn, but he’s met with a bloody scene. He immediately calls for an alarm when he sees the dead guard and calls who Kaide shows up to.
It wasn’t long before Rygan barged into the confines of the small room that Elise was in. The two betas had never seen it like this; his eyes were like a madman’s. Blazed with fury, he punched the nearest wall, causing it to crack.
“Where the fuck is she?” Rygan snaps, and Kaide watches as Tazmin takes the small blanket, taking a whiff of the scent of Elise before Rygan grabs it.
not been long, but we can still track her if we go now.” Taz says, but Alvira walks into the
“Are you sure she wants to be found?” She asks before handing out a paper to Rygan. “The maid cleaning out her room that has been under construction for the past week found this.” she says as Rygan opens it.
“A letter she’d written for a while, telling us not to look for her when she planned to run away from this pack after ruining it and ruining us. For all we know, she is with Karen.”
“This can’t be Rygan mutters with a squeeze to the letter, “She woul never do this!”
“But it is Rygan, don’t you see? She played us all, you, my dear cousin, and even proceeded to kill our child; she isn’t worth looking for!” Alvira says. They were again interrupted by a very angry Vienna with dark eye bags, showing the healer hadn’t had a wink of sleep in days.
“You cannot go in there!” Another guard tries to hold her off, but Rygan lets her into the cell. She steps in with her eyes lined with tears.
“Where is she?” She asks Rygan, whose eyes hold so much pain from seeing Vienna crushed. He tries to touch her, but she pushes him away. “I know Elise didn’t run away. Someone must have taken her!” She cries.
“But she did, so stop trying to blame us, Alvira says. She turns to Rygan, trying to tug him away from Vienna
“I didn’t want to say this, but my healers sent you instead of me to check on her yesterday and found out that she might have been pregnant, Vienna says, shocking all of them.
“What?” Rygan calls in a whisper. He is frozen in terror that a pregnant Elise is all alone.
“So what? For all we know, the baby belongs to Kyren. Rygan’s wolf is special, and it takes a certain kind of special gene to have his child, and that woman took it away. How am I not sure you are working with her and trying to confuse us?” Alvira raves.
“You know very well I’m not as deceptive as you, Alvira; how am I not sure you have nothing to do with this?” She snaps back.
“What did you say to me, freaking bitch?” Alvira screams; her hands raise to attack Vienna, but Taz comes in between and holds her hand to stop her.
All of you stop right this instant. They hear Rygan’s voice roar; his alpha aura brings quivers to their knees as they bow to him.
In this whole mess, Rygan has been silent and thinking, but all the more if Elise was pregnant, he couldn’t let her get away. “We are going to search for her; call the troops on search points,” he said to his betas.
“What? You can’t!” Alvira screeched, Kaide’s head also whipped to his alpha, while Taz was in Vienna, who liked mostly relief.
“And give me one fucking reason I can’t.” He growls, his eyes filled with murderous intent so fierce that it makes Alvira take a step back, and she is immediately left speechless. She opened her mouth, but no words came out.
“She can’t escape; if she betrays me, I’ll see to it that all the truth will be revealed when we find her,” he says as he walks out of the prison, shifting into his mighty beast.
“And I’m going to find her no matter what.” He declares he won’t let Elise vanish from his life without an explanation.
He has to find her, no matter what.
