Chapter 7 You’d Better Die
She cried and smiled, “Aaron, I didn’t lie to you.”
“I agree to divorce, but I want you to give me 10 million dollars!”
She was afraid that if she did not ask for anything, he would think she was playing tricks.
She was really afraid of him, and this time she just wanted to sneak away and give birth to the baby.
“10 million?” His eyes were cold.
This woman wanted money? She was indeed a mercenary woman! She said she loved him, but she
actually loved his money!
Beth sneered, “Why do you hesitate? You’ll pay me, won’t you?”
“Well, it seems that you don’t love Kathy so much. You can't even give me 10 million dollars for her!”
She finished her words.
Aaron released her, pulled something out of his pocket. That was a cheque he had signed.
Then he threw it on her face!
The cheque was so soft and light, but it was more like a huge stone, breaking Beth’s heart into powder.
“Last time you told me you had uterine cancer. Well, that's enough money for a good cemetery.” There
was only coldness in Aaron’s eyes.
Beth's whole body was stiff, and her face instantly turned pale to the extreme.
She had a bloody hole in her heart.
She looked at his cold face in disbelief.
He cursed her to buy herself a graveyard with 10 million dollars!
Did he still think she was lying to him even until today?
She was infinitely numb, but she never thought of explaining anything.
That was fine.
He knew nothing. It was fine.
Despite great pain, she raised her face and smiled at him, saying, “Tomorrow morning, at nine o'clock,
I’ll see you in the court.”
“Give me the money, and I’ll sign the agreement.”
Aaron took a step back with disgust and warned her, Property © 2024 N0(v)elDrama.Org.
“You’d better not play any tricks.”
Well.
He did not trust her yet.
Beth wiped her tears, self-deprecating, “Aaron, am I such a bad person in your eyes?”
Aaron did not look back and went outside.
His voice was cold, with no emotion. He replied, “You're nothing for me!”
He was so indifferent and cold!
In front of the man she loved, she had already given up everything and descended herself into the
lowest position.
But she was still nothing for him.
When Aaron's car disappeared at the door, Beth suddenly realized what happened and put her hand
over her mouth to keep herself from crying.
Tears rolled out of her eyes.
‘Beth.’
‘Don't cry. Don't cry, ok?’
‘Even if you have no family, and no husband, but you have your child in your belly.’
‘You have to be strong.’
Thinking that the next day she would go to the court and divorce Aaron, Beth could not sleep all night.
She sat by the bed and looked at her marriage license in the middle of the night.
The photo on the marriage license was their only photo. No, that was not really a photo.
Aaron hated her, so he was reluctant to take a photo with her and asked someone to make a fake one.
How pathetic she was.
She never got his love. Even the only photo of them, was a fake.
This was such a great irony!
The next day Beth made up specially to cover her pale face.
She took the marriage license, stopped being sorrowful, and drove her own crappy car to the court.
Just out of the villa area, she got a call from Kathy.
She didn't want to answer it, but Kathy just kept calling her.
Beth was irritated and finally answered the call.
“Beth, congratulations, I heard you’re pregnant, too.”
Kathy's soft and sweet voice, at this moment, seemed so gloomy.
