“Stop!”
When Dustin was about to walk out of the clinic, Dylan called out to him.
“What? Unwilling to admit defeat?” asked Dustin as he turned around.
“Of course not!” Dylan cried out. “You were just getting rid of poison! You can’t test any skill through than Besides, I suspect that you already have the antidote. How else could you get rid of poison by just drinking warm water? It doesn’t make sense! That poison isn’t something that you can cure through wens water! You must have taken the antidote in secret!”
Quite a number of people agreed with Dylan.
After all, getting rid of poison through warm water was a little too far–fetched
Delia technically also gave Dylan some warm water, so why was he not cured of his poison?
It did not make sense.
“Dustin, you tricked us. If you have the guts, compete against Dr. Parker again! I refuse to believe that you have any knowledge about medicine! Prove it to me! Delia cried out as well.
“Who the hell do you think you are? Why should I prove myself to you?” Dustin asked coldly, and Delia’s face darkened.
“But since so many of you are questioning my skills, I suppose we can go for another round.”
When Dustin agreed, Dr. Parker immediately called someone to help him up.
He took out the antidote and ate it. Then, his condition quickly improved.
“If you lose, you have to apologize to me and declare three times that the Medical Sage doesn’t deserve his reputation and is just after fame and fortune!” Dylan said darkly.
“What if you lose?” Dustin asked.
“If I lose? Ha! This time, I won’t lose!” Dylan was confident.
“If you lose, you have to leave Rivenesco, and you’ll never talk trash about the Medical Sage again How does that sound?” Dustin asked.
“Very well.” Dylan nodded.
“Dustin, you ignorant fool!” Delia mocked him. “I’ll make a bet too. If you lose to Dylan, you have to kneel outside the Wyatt family’s villa for three days and three nights. Well?
Dustin narrowed his eyes and looked at her.
“And if I lose… I’ll apologize to you on my knees!”
“Make sure you remember what you just said,” said Dustin.
Even though Delia had apologized to him before, he had been in the guise of the Medical Sage.
This time, he wanted Delia to apologize to the real Dustin Fox.
“How are we going to compete this time, Dr. Parker?” Dustin looked at Dylan.
Dylan looked around, and his gaze fell on the dazed Bella.
“We’ll use her as our subject this time. She has lost her mind and needs a long time to recover. Let’s show our skills. Whoever can help her recover the quickest is the one who wins!”
Dustin frowned.
He knew exactly why Bella had lost her mind.
It was no problem at all for him to cure Bella. The question was whether he really wanted to do that.
‘It’s about time she faced the cruel reality,‘ Dustin thought. He agreed to the deal.
“Since you’re young, I’ll let you go first,” Dylan said.
Dustin shook his head.
“You can do whatever you want. If you can make her regain her sanity, I’ll admit defeat.”
Dylan was puzzled. Why was Dustin so confident?
“Aren’t you worried about losing?” he asked.
“I’m just very certain that you can’t treat her,” said Dustin and chuckled.
Dylan’s face darkened.
“You’re the one insisting on being an arrogant prick. Don’t regret it later!”
With that said, he went over to Bella.
After inspecting her carefully, he smiled and asked his assistant to retrieve a box of pills for him.
“If I give her the pills to stimulate her brain, she’ll regain her sanity very quickly,” Dylan said with a smile. Property © of NôvelDrama.Org.
