Whatever happens, happens
Cayden
“Yes I did and would do it a million times again if I were given the chance to”
I knew things between Brielle and I ended on a not so good note but it still perplexed me as to why she would go to this extent of trying to ruin my life. What did she stand gain, what was her reason for all this… I thought she was gone for good?
“But why Brielle, why? What did I ever do to deserve the evil you’ve so intentionally done to me, why go through all this stress?” I tried to phantom why on earth she would do what she did. My mind raced around a million and one reasons why she did it but none wmquite settle in.
“You are way more dumb than I thought if you can ask me such a stupid question” she spites me but I do not burge “I wanted you Cayden, I wanted you for myself and nobody else yet you reciprocated the opposite affection to me, little did I know you wanted to get rid of me discreetly. Now that wasn’t what pricked me the most, my fury began when you started discussing our issues at home with that bitch called Lily. I could’ve have fucked up her life too but smi consider to be a woman like me who has needs so you are the one to blame and not her” she took a two second breath and then continued “and to sum it all up, at the foolish instruction of that bitch, you had to audacity to send me packing in the middle of the night Cayden, like who does that… and then you will call me a devil. I do not regret a single thing I have done to you Cayden” she stiffened her face and I could see bridges of skin form on the top of her skull.
“You know I actually thought you were insane then but I didn’t know you were this crazy. This petty things you’ve said gave you no right to meddle in affairs of my life or even get close to me. If memory serves me right, you freely got into that taxi and sped off in it, so why go away only to come back and hurt me?”
“Oh my dear Cayden, you really do not know the extent to which I can go to ruin your life. I hate you Cayden and would risk every atom of my being to make sure your life crumbles to pieces, you deserve every misfortune that comes your way and I would not mind being the cause of a whole lot more” she reiterated her hatred for me and I could see the anguish in her eyes.
“Do you know you could go to jail for this Brielle? You impersonated a person who you are not and committed fraud. I can assure you of a large number of years behind bars for this, if I report you to the authorities. You’ve sure made the worst mistake of your life trust me”
For a few seconds there, Brielle was silent and I could see the intense contemplating that loomed in it. Then she finally spoke again
“If you report me for my deeds than I guess I’ll have no choice but to expose you as well for the fraud that you are and make sure everyone you love goes down with you. Now I’m sure you don’t want that now, do you?” Those few words terrified me deeply, I couldn’t have a situation that would be worse than the one I was already in, especially not having to bring Lily into my mess as I had already ruined every chance of being with her, now I couldn’t have her coming to answer questions of fraud because of my mistakes.
“You wouldn’t dare Brielle” I asked in hesitation
“Oh yes I will, I bet your big junk I will. If I came this far, what makes you think I wouldn’t do this?” she asked with a mischievous smirk and I could see that she wasn’t kidding.Exclusive © content by N(ô)ve/l/Drama.Org.
I had finally decided on what to do, I was going to take her to the police regardless of what was going to happen. Besides if she was really serious and not bluffing why did she wait this long to bring her proof and not use the chance she had to have ruined my life a long time ago and get rid of me. This meant she didn’t have any proof at all and I was not will to bank on that uncertainty.
“You know what Brielle, go ahead” I said in an adamant tone
“Wait what!?” She was surprised to find out I was willing to risk it all
“Yes go ahead and do whatever you wish but one thing is for certain and that’s the fact that your coming years are going to be spent behind bars” I kept s pale face and she could now see that I wasn’t kidding.
I dragged her without shame to the police station where an officer was stationed at the counter. I gave my statement and handed her over before taking my phone to call (baby mama) to make sure she was will to testify in my favour when the time arose.
“Hey I just got Brielle to the police station ow and she has been taken in”
“Okay! That’s good news I guess”
“But I will need you to do one last thing for me” I asked in hopes of a favorable response
“Sure, what could that be”
“Well as it now seems, this case may go to court and I would need a reliable witness to testify in my favor and that’s where you come in. Can you do that for me please”
“Absolutely Cayden, after knowing what she had done to you it’s the least I can do to get you back on track”
“Wonderful, thank you so much”
I dropped the call with a renewed hope that things may just start working out for my good.
