DANCER
When Zachary kissed Samarra on the lips right after she came out of the bathroom, her sharp scream became trapped in her mouth. She was surprised to kiss and also responded to his kiss moments later. Zachary cut before their kiss deepened; he touched her on both shoulders and looked at her carefully.
“Thank you for everything, love. Because of you, my life has taken a positive turn.”
Zachary smiled, his hands still encircling her waist.
“You’re always welcome. Love. I promise to be there for you no matter what.”
She raised her head to meet their gaze, and before Zachary could avert his gaze, she noticed tears welling up in his eyes.
“What exactly are you calling me?”
Samarra smirked and stepped away from Zachary’s embrace. She didn’t get far away from him because he wanted to repeat what she said, and he grabbed her by the waist.
“I’m asking you?”
“What are you asking?”
“Ara, one,” Zachary said, hinting at the irritation she was laughing at. But she also abruptly halted as Zachary’s kiss oppressed her.
“That’s your punishment for teasing me and not answering my question.”
Samarra was upset because she knew Zachary was attempting to kiss her, although she was not doing anything.
When Zachary touched her chin and bit her lip, her eyes widened even more.
“Ouch,” she moaned, covering her mouth and glaring at Zachary. Zachary bites her lip as if he’s munching on a burger he wants to bite.
“Alright, I’m sorry, love.”
Zachary laughed and apologized to her, but she ignored him because she could tell by the mischievous smile on his lips that he wasn’t sincere.
He tightened his grip on her waist and kissed her as she closed her eyes.
“I’m sorry, are your lips still sore? Do you want me to kiss you again?”
She rolled her eyes angrily at Zachary because of the mischief; she thought Zachary wanted to stick his lips to her.
“Sleep, love?”
All of her thoughts were cut short when Zachary said to her.
She looked up at Zachary and quickly glanced at his watch.
It was only eight o’clock at night;
Why was he going to sleep? Because she believes Zachary isn’t yet sleepy.
“W-wait, I’m not dressed yet,” she said as they started walking straight to their bed.
“Hey, what’s the matter with you? And one more thing, we sleep naked,” Zachary said mischievously in her ear, which she sniffed when he pressed his lip to her earlobe.
“W-what?” She asked, surprised because if Zachary was naughty before, he appears to be twice as bad now. Because of his misbehavior, she had no idea what he had consumed.
“Stop thinking about it, and I don’t take no for an answer.”
Samarra sighed and swallowed before drifting to Zachary’s liking. She isn’t comfortable sleeping in clothes because it doesn’t make sense for her to argue with Zachary.
“Love, light off or light on?” Zachary inquired as they sat up in bed. She couldn’t move because her heart was pounding for an unknown reason.
Why did Zachary’s simple question to her seem so different that she wanted to interpret it?
She wasn’t sure if she’d think about it. Or what?
Zachary wished to convey to her.
She took a deep breath first to clear her mind of evil thoughts. Her self-awareness appears to be becoming more malicious over time.
“Do whatever you want.”
“Really? Do you let me do whatever I want?”
Samarra stumbled over to look at Zachary as he stood up and took off his clothes in front of her, so she backed away and leaned on the bed’s headboard.
“W-what… What are you going to do?” she asked as Zachary began to walk towards her, twisting in his hand the dress that Zachary had stripped in the air.
“You let me do whatever I wanted.”
Zachary’s waist smiled and even winked at her.
Zachary danced in front of her, and her lips parted. She was aware that her cheek was flushed. Because her husband is so hot, he’s not obscene in appearance, but he’s like a Greek God sent to earth to attract her.
Attract?
At the thought, she immediately shook her head.
Oh my goodness, Samarra. What are your thoughts? She chastised herself.
She was still closing her eyes when Zachary approached her seat, both hands raised between her body as if he wanted to encircle her in his arms.
“Love.”
She was about to open her eyes when she heard a faint laugh and saw Zachary’s smile reach his eyes.
“I wondered, aren’t you sleepy yet? Why are you closing your eyes?” Zachary asked, smiling, as he removed the stray hairs from her face.
“Love?”
Samarra jumped onto the bed and grabbed the comforter. She cinched the comforter around her head. She was ashamed of what she was doing, as if Zachary, like Ezekiel, could read her demeanor.
“Hey, are you going to sleep?” Zachary inquired, laughing. He’s teasing her again.
She sat down, annoyed, and removed the comforter.
“Did I think we were going to sleep?” she inquired.
“Love, you’re HB again,” Zachary laughed as he tried to grab her for a hug.
“Don’t be concerned; we haven’t done anything yet.” I’ll get tired of you quickly.”
Samarra’s vision was clouded by what she had heard; she wasn’t sure if she was thinking correctly or turning green.
“What?” she asked, perplexed.
She didn’t want to think because she wanted to be sure what Zachary meant, but Zachary’s actions seemed to confirm her suspicion.
“No, let’s keep it this way.”
Zachary pressed his face against her neck and tightened his grip on her waist even more. So she had no choice but to return Zachary’s hug.
“Love?”
Samarra looked at Zachary, who was lying on the bed. The pillow she made was Zachary’s arm.
“What exactly do you want?”
“Hmm.”
Zachary turned her sideways so they could face each other. He kissed her on the lips and kissed her on the cheek.
“I’m curious, love. “What exactly do you want?”
She immediately shook her head and wrapped her arms around Zachary’s waist. She had no desire to purchase anything.
She wanted to stay here, sleep together, and wake up.

She smiled but said nothing.
“Let’s sleep, love.”
She nodded quickly and squeezed Zachary’s body. She also allowed Zachary to remove their lampshade. Zachary spoke to her, but he didn’t understand much because she was drowsy.
