Chapter 240
Go Away, I’m A Billionairess Now By Evie Cole Chapter 240
Chapter 240 How Do You Know?
Gisselle snorted and said before Roland walked to them, “I have to admit that Mr. Garza really knows how to chase girls.”
Samara raised her eyebrows and looked at Roland, who had already walked up to them. “What a coincidence, Mr. Garza?”
“It’s not a coincidence. I’m here to pick you up.”
Roland bantered. But there was still a hint of worry in his dark brown eyes. “Are you hurt?”
Samara was moved. Her eyebrows moved slightly, and she shook her head. “It’s nothing serious. Mr. Garza is considerate.”
The smile on Roland’s face deepened. “I’ll send you back.”
Just as Samara was about to refuse, Gisselle could not wait to say, “Alright, thank you, Mr. Garza. If you don’t mind, can you help us get our luggage too?”
Samara glanced at Gisselle. “You didn’t hesitate at all.”
“Why should I? Mr. Garza is our friend,” Gisselle said.
She also shamelessly asked Roland, “Am I right, Mr. Garza?”
“Ms. Pineda is right.”
After Roland finished speaking, he looked at Samara meaningfully. “I will help you get your luggage. Please wait for me there.”
He did not just want to be Samara’s friend. He wanted to be her boyfriend.
Samara stared at Roland’s back. Gisselle raised her hand and patted her. She tilted her head and winked at Samara. “What are you thinking?”
Samara lowered her head and looked at Gisselle. “You are really thick-skinned.”
As she spoke, she raised her leg and walked towards Roland.
Because they had bought a lot of things during the day, their luggage was very heavy.
Samara was not as thick-skinned as Gisselle. They and Roland were just ordinary friends. Roland had promised to send them back. It would be too much if she let him carry the luggage for them. She didn’t want to owe him too much.
However, just as Samara went over, Roland had already dragged their luggage over. When he saw Samara, his eyes curled slightly. “Do you think I can’t carry these two suitcases?”
Samara was embarrassed. “Not really.”
Roland glanced at her but did not continue. He dragged the suitcases to his car.
Roland put the two suitcases in the trunk and opened the passenger seat door. “What? Are you afraid that my driving skills are bad?”
Samara glanced at him and sat down.
The thick-skinned Gisselle had already sat in the back seat. After fastening the seat belt, Gisselle put on her earphones and leaned against the car window to pretend to be asleep. Content © NôvelDrama.Org.
She was a tactful person.
Of course, there was no sound in the earphones.
The car slowly drove out of the hospital. No one spoke. It was very quiet.
A few minutes later, the car stopped in front of the red light. Roland turned his head and looked at Samara. “Did you hit your
head?”
When Samara heard his words, she came back to her senses and nodded. “Yes, I hit the front chair.”
Samara felt a chill on her forehead as soon as she finished speaking. Roland’s slender fingers landed on her forehead. “Does it hurt?”
Samara was a little stunned. She shook her head subconsciously. “It doesn’t hurt.”
The finger on her forehead changed position. This time, Samara felt pain. She frowned slightly. Roland also stopped and changed the topic. “Are you not curious how I knew?”
Samara rubbed her forehead and asked, “How did you know?”
Roland pointed at Gisselle, who was pretending to be asleep and eavesdropping. “Ms. Pineda posted on her Instagram.”
Samara clicked into her phone and found that Gisselle even had time to post about the car accident on her Instagram.
Gisselle was also amazing.
The green light lit up. Roland retracted his gaze and started the car again. It went back silent again in the car.
Gisselle, who was pretending to be asleep, felt bored. She originally thought she could hear something exciting, but she did not expect the conversation between Samara and Roland to be so boring.
It seems Mr. Garza is not very good at chasing girls.
