Flora’s Guide to a Second Chance at Love and Life

Chapter 892

Flora had already tuned him out. While Adrian and the rest kept running laps, she casually pulled out her phone to pass the time.

Inside the Group Chat 257, the conversation was buzzing. It wasn't clear who had kicked it off, but a bunch of high-flyers were swapping some pretty cheeky jokes. Flora scrolled through, chuckling at the ones that tickled her fancy, even saving a few hilarious GIFs. Most

of the jokes didn't really do it for her, though.

She typed with one hand: "Send over a couple more."

Flora: "I've got some even better ones. Interested?"

No sooner had she sent the message than the chat fell silent, and then-

Dozens of bigwigs from all sorts of fields were hurriedly deleting their messages. They'd assumed Flora wasn't around and felt bold enough to chat like that, but now... they'd been caught in the act! Their young club president shouldn't be seeing such things! Although-

It seemed like the president had even better resources than they did!

---

Up ahead, the boys watched, hoping Flora might turn things around. But clearly, they'd expected too much. Flora just stopped the car. They were totally let down. Adrian had talked such a big game earlier, and they'd secretly hoped Flora might pull a rabbit out of the hat, but now it looked more like a scare than a surprise.

With skills like that, how was she supposed to compete? Was she just setting herself up to be embarrassed?

Andy gripped the steering wheel tighter, making up his mind. No matter what, he had to clear things up with her afterward!

Back in the Group Chat 257.

Rafael awkwardly changed the subject: "Flora, the Medical League's wrapped up, isn't it about time you came back?"

Jules: "What's the date? We'll come pick you up!"

Flora: "I'll be a bit late; got some stuff to handle here."

Rafael: "What's on the agenda?"

Flora snapped a photo of the racetrack and sent it over.

Flora: "Just hanging out with some kids, giving them a few driving tips."

Racing's Top Dog: "Boss, where are you? Who managed to snag you? Is this some global top-tier race?"

Flora: "Nah, just a qualifying race."

At the global top club's track, a guy stared at Flora's message, utterly baffled. Qualifying race... When did those start warranting the club president's attention?

Everyone knew even the world's top racing club, Club 257, had once tried to recruit Flora, but she turned them down. He took a deep breath, replying: "Those kids are really lucky."

Lucky didn't even cover it; it was like they had done something heroic in a past life. He recalled begging Flora for a month just for a tip, and she'd only given him a brief pointer over a video call. Getting face-to-face advice was beyond his wildest dreams.

Flora glanced up at the track, noticing Adrian and the others nearing the finish. She wasn't just looking to help the Reyes family team pass the qualifying race; she wanted to bring them back to glory, making them the top team on Lone Istand. Doing that alone would be tough.

She needed more people.

Thinking it over, she opened "Racing's Top Dog" profile and sent a message.

Meanwhile, Adrian's car crossed the finish line first, with Andy's not far behind Adrian stepped out, heading towards Flora's car. Andy followed, silent but determined to have a talk with Flora.
