Chapter 38
Chapter 38
“I don’t know…”
Briana had a red face. Her forehead was sweating, and her body felt hot.
Maxim pinched her chin and said word by word, “Look at me! Who am I?”
The pain in her chin made her sober for a moment. She opened her eyes slowly.
“Maxim…”
Maxim lowered his head to kiss her red lips as he held her waist.
Briana felt hot and then cold.
It was a long night.
When Briana woke up, her sore body made her moan subconsciously. Content bel0ngs to Nôvel(D)r/a/ma.Org.
Then she opened her eyes abruptly. When she saw Maxim’s handsome face, she realized that it was not a dream.
Briana rubbed her temples and felt even a greater headache.
Because of her movements, Maxim woke up too.
As they looked at each other, they said nothing.
Briana pouted. When she opened her mouth, she found that her voice was hoarse. Then she had flashbacks of last night. It made her clench her fists.
After a moment of silence, she said in a low voice, “Let’s forget about what happened last night.”
They would get divorced soon. She didn’t want to cause any trouble because of this. Nor did she want Maxim to think that she would take the chance to stick to him.
Maxim’s eyes turned cold. “What do you mean?”
Briana frowned and looked at him. “We are grown-ups. It was just an accident. Don’t worry. I won’t ask you to do anything.”
Maxim laughed in anger. “Should I say thank you for being so considerate?”
He thought their relationship would improve after last night. However, he was wrong!
Briana said nothing.
She wouldn’t ask Maxim to do anything for her. Why was he upset?
After a while, Maxim said, “I saved you last night. I helped you. Don’t you think you should do something for me to pay me back?”
Briana looked at him in shock and complained, “You took advantage of me. Why should I pay you back?”
“You asked me to have sex with you again and again. Remember?”.
Briana blushed subconsciously in embarrassment. Although she was unconscious back then, she had memories.
She couldn’t help blushing at the thought of last night.
Seeing that she was silent, Maxim felt better.
“Looks like you have memories.”
Briana bit her teeth and stared at him. “What do you want?”
“Don’t mention divorce again!”
“No way!”
Briana’s eyes turned cold at once.
“Maxim, it’s none of my business if you want a mistress. I just don’t want to be between you and Kiley. Even if you hadn’t saved me, I would have been saved by another man!”
It angered Maxim, who grabbed her wrist and pressed her down.
“Say it again!”
Their bodies were close. Briana blushed in anger or embarrassment.
“Let go!”
Maxim lowered his head to bite her lips. It hurt. He said coldly, “Now that you are my woman, you are not gonna be with other men! I won’t let my wife go unless she is dead!”
Briana looked at him coldly. “You are forcing me to kill you?”
Maxim raised his eyebrows. “If you can.”
Then he let go of her and stood up.
