Don’t Fall for the Billionaire Lover

Chapter 606

Chapter 606

Lisa stood there, utterly stunned, disbelief etched across her face. "What do you mean you never recorded any video?"

Ricky sauntered up to her, snatching the suitcase from her hands with a swagger. "I was just poking around out of curiosity when I saw you stabbing your dad. I was so shocked, recording anything was the last thing on my mind. I was bluffing the whole time."

He smirked, clearly pleased with himself. "You're just too easy to fool, always buying into whatever I say."

Lisa shook with anger. "You've been blackmailing me all this time, and there was never a video?"

If she hadn't been worried about that supposed video, Ricky wouldn't have had a hold over her at all. She wouldn't even fear a murder accusation, since Ann had already taken the fall for her. Plus, who'd believe a word from a street thug like him?

Ignoring Lisa's fury, Ricky opened the suitcase, itching to lay his eyes on the passports, plane tickets, and especially the fifty million in cash. But what he found left him stunned.NôvelDrama.Org owns all © content.

The suitcase was packed with hell money, not a passport or ticket in sight. Ricky was floored, his shock quickly turning to rage.

He hurled the suitcase down at Lisa's feet, roaring like a lion gone mad. "What the hell is this?"

In that moment, realization dawned on him. He'd been played by this devious woman. She'd never intended to give him money or set him up with a new identity.

Lisa, meanwhile, had regained her composure, a sly smile playing on her lips. "Looking for the cash? There it is, right in front of you."

Ricky was furious. "I'm talking about real money, not this fake crap. You think you can just mess with me like that?"

Lisa laughed, a full, hearty laugh. "Ricky, did you ever stop to think

how much room fifty million in cash would take up? Or that you have declare anything over five grand when@aving the country? You've

never even been abroad a

you?

Thinking you could carry that kind of cash out was just plain naive."

"And those new identities and passports? Just some Photoshop magic I paid twenty bucks for. You really thought because I said we were in this together, I'd help you out? Dream on."

Ricky felt an overwhelming urge to

lash out at her, but he held back, clenching his jaw. "Lisa, if you don't help me, we're both going down. If I get caught, you think I'll let you off the hook? We'll go down

Suther!"

But Lisa showed no fear. "You think the cops would believe you without a video? You accuse me of murder, I call it a frame job, and I could even charge you with defamation."

Ricky, now completely unhinged, lost his last shred of sanity. He lunged at Lisa, yelling, "I'll kill you first!"

But Lisa was ready. She whipped out a handgun from her pocket, aiming it squarely at Ricky's head, and fired.

Time seemed to freeze as Ricky's

body hung in mid-air, his eyes wide with shock and pain, fixed on Lisa He didn't have time to process what happened before he crumpled to the flooflike a felled giant, hitting the ground with a heavy thud. Content
