Chapter 1195
Nash could not help but laugh, a bit bewildered by her thought process. He cupped Nina's face and planted a kiss on her forehead. "I don't think so. Look at us! We're proof that people who love each other end up together, right?" "I'm talking about Yvonne," Nina said, still focused on her friend's situation, not wanting to steer the conversation back to themselves.
Nash gestured for her to look. At that moment, Yvonne was sitting on Joe's back, treating him like a horse. "You have to trust that everything happens for a reason, even if it seems ridiculous. This might just be the best thing for her." He did not mention how the Gibsons had slandered Yvonne after everything fell apart. Seeing how Joe took care of her now, Nash felt that this outcome might be better than marrying into the Gibson family.
Yvonne, with her personality, would never have survived under the control of Nigel's mother, let alone the aunts.
Suddenly, Yvonne yelped and jumped off Joe's back, starting to pull down her pants. Joe quickly stopped her, realizing her pants were wet.
He sighed with a soft chuckle. "Did you have an accident, Little Sis?"
Yvonne nodded, looking up at him with a pitiful expression.
Joe patted her head, soothing her. "It's okay. Next time you feel like you need to go, tell me, and I'll take you to the bathroom, alright?"
She nodded again.
Watching from a distance, Nina murmured, "She wet her pants. Has she really forgotten even that?"
"Her doctor said she's doing better than expected. Some people in her condition can't even manage basic self-care or stop speaking nonsense all day."
Nash noticed the sadness in Nina's eyes and gently directed the driver to leave, not wanting her to see more. But she wasn't ready to go just yet and tried to protest. Nash lightly grabbed her chin, a teasing smile playing on his lips. "Don't push me, Nash. I'm serious," Nina warned, slightly annoyed.
He chuckled. "My wifey, if you keep this up, you're going to make me react."
The driver stifled a laugh, and Nina flushed with embarrassment, pushing Nash away and turning to face the window.
But soon, she could not sit still.
Hunger hit her, the kind that
demanded immediate satisfaction
and the Snacks were on Nash's side.
She glanced over, seeing he was
busy with his phone and had not
noticed.

All she needed to do was reach across him to grab the bag, but she did not have the energy to stretch that far. Her attempts to slide over failed.
Nash finally put his phone down, noticing her struggle. He was going to tease her but saw the defeated look in her eyes and could not resist helping. "What's wrong?"
"I want chocolate, cookies, and milk," she admitted softly.
Before she even finished speaking, Nash had already handed her the snacks. She downed the milk first, letting out a satisfied sigh, before savering the cookies and chocolate. NôvelD(ram)a.ôrg owns this content.
Nash wiped a crumb from the corner of her mouth and told her to slow down.
Pouting, Nina asked, "You're not mad at me?"
He smiled warmly. "Of course not. You're my wife. I'd rather spoil you than be mad at you."
"Really? Because I'm still mad at you," she teased, her pout deepening. But before she could say more, Nash stole a kiss, making her huff in protest.
He laughed softly. "I know you're
upset. I was just thinking of ways to
make it up to you when you got hungry. But listen, no matter what happens, you're always first in my life. You never have to worry about me ignoring you."
Nina had been worried that Nash was angry with her, but his words soothed her completely. There was no doubt he adored her, and she smiled softly at his reassurance.
Once she had eaten her fill, Nina let out a contented burp, then felt the drowsiness set in. She snuggled against Nash's shoulder and drifted off to sleep.
