Chapter 187
Chapter 187 Blood on the carpet
I only lowered my head and cried quietly. We walked for a long time when finally we arrived at a blue container. He nodded to the ship crew, and they opened it, but all of them held their guns. I could see immediately why. There were six other girls. A few of them sat there motionless, only two of them had puffy eyes of crying, and a terrified look. "Okay, dear, have a good journey. I'll see you sometimes in the Deville's house. I promise I will visit you."
He laughed and pushed me into the container. Then they locked it. I slipped down on the ground and I just sat there. It was dark. I could see nothing until my eyes got used to the darkness, and I could only see some shadows after. I hugged my knees, and I asked God to send me after Gideon soon.

We all sat in the dining room to have breakfast. Matteo somehow was not calm today. We could not sleep last night and probably he was peevish. I took him out of the feeding chair and I sat him on my lap while Alexandra tried to feed him.
"Are we going out for a wander?" Sloane asked her brother, who had just finished eating.
"Daddy, you promised we are going to check on Alice and Lucas." Ava interrupted the conversation before it even started.
"Wouldn't it be better just to let them surprise us at the gala?" He asked his daughter, but Ava shook her head.
"Daddy, I am going to be a figure skater as well. I want to know more about their technique."
Seth rolled his eyes in disbelief, then he looked at Sloane.
"Maybe you take Leah with you. I'll take Ava to the ice rink." Then he turned to me.
"Are you joining us as well?"
I looked at Alexandra first, who told me what she was thinking without words.
"No, I think we are choosing to be surprised at the gala as well. We might go for a walk later. It seems like Matteo is having a bad day today,"
He nodded.
then, I think it is only me and Ava who goes to A
to Alice."
Ava hugged his daddy lovingly.
"Thank you, daddy." She said, and she kissed his face.
As I looked at them, I had a thought that hurt me still. They always made me think about what I missed. If I would have known Alice, when she was the same age as Ava, I wondered if she could force me with one look to do what she likes, like Ava did to her father. I had a few pictures, and I saw a few videos of her when she was little, and I had to admit that if that cute little girl would have looked at me with those begging eyes, I would have done everything for her. I kissed Matteo's head when he finished eating. "Are we going out for a walk, then?"
Alexandra nodded with a smile. I knew she was tired as well, and the only thing that she wanted was just to put Matteo down to sleep.
We were about to leave when my eyes stuck to a figure. He stepped into the dining room, looked around, obviously seeking us, as he took his way toward our table as soon as he recognised us.
"Good morning, I... I'm sorry for disturbing you, but I was worried about Alice. Is she alright?"
I frowned.
"What the hell are you talking about, Lucas? Shouldn't you two train at the moment?" I looked at my watch, then I looked back at him
He frowned, and he was apparently confused.
"We do, but Alice didn't come. I thought she wasn't well or something."
Chapter 187 Bleed on the carpet
I frowned more, like the others did. Alice would have never missed a training, if she promised she would be there. I knew Galeon was offended a little because he was jealous. I thought maybe they reconciled, and Alice maybe stayed with him today. and the
I took my phone, and I rang her. There was no answer. I rang Gideon, and there was no answer either.
"Seth, could you call your brother? Maybe he just didn't pick it up for me."
He shook his head.
try, but I'm sure this isn't the case "
He tried to call him a few times, while everyone tried to call Alice and their room number.
I looked at Alexandra. Her gaze darkened, and 1 did not like that face of hers at all. My heartbeat Lastened.
"Spencer, come with me."
He stood up quickly, and I rushed out of the dining room with him. He looked scared as well. I could see that on his face.
We walked to the reception.
"I need a key for my daughter's room"
"I'm really sorry, but we are not allowed to handle keys other than the attendants of the room."
The receptionist said.
"I'm looking for my daughter and his boyfriend. I have to have a key,"
The receptionist frowned.
"We called a taxi as usual for Miss D'angell this morning. She went to the ice rink early."
This was the sentence that I did not want to hear, this sentence was enough to increase my blood pressure. I left her without a word and I walked to the lift, followed by Spencer. "What do you want to do, Riccardo?"Original from NôvelDrama.Org.
""To find them"
1 could say nothing else. I was too frustrated. I held my gun under my jacket, like Spencer did, and when we left the lift, I walked to a housekeeper in
the corridor.
"Good morning dear, I forgot my keys. Can you I
let me into my room, please?"
I showed the card to her, and fortunately, she was careless enough. She did not check it
properly.
"What number is it, sir?"
I told her the room number, and she led us there with a smile. She opened the door for us and she walked away. We both held out our guns, and we entered the room.
We were careful. We stuck together to cover each other. After we checked every corner, we knew they were not there. Spencer punched the wall angrily. Actually, I knew what he felt, probably I felt the same. I looked around and something caught my attention. I walked there to check it.
"Spencer." I called him. He came closer, and he closed his eyes, apparently tried not to lose himself. It was blood on the carpet. As Alice left, it was obvious the blood belonged to Cideon. I looked around, and I found his valet, his passport, and his gun as well. Spencer collapsed on the sofa and held his head while he started gasping. He did not want to c
