Alpha’s Surrogate Chapter 54
54. His Vow.
“It seems, it is time for me to stop letting my heart beat only for you, Xavier,” “Don’t forget that you are my first in everything and that you will be last,” “I will only ever love you.”
Kiara confessed, then kissed Xavier on the lips stealing his heartbeat. The breath of a 6.3-foot-tall, once-rejected man had been stolen. Her declaration of love had astounded him. The day he had rejected Petra he had started to hate women. He had not thought about finding love again. He couldn’t manage to close his eyes, couldn’t push himself to kiss her back, and couldn’t forget what he’d just heard.
The young woman broke the kiss from his lips and buried her face in his chest. She was terrified of confronting the truth. She was scared of looking into his eyes, that she was sure were filled with hatred for her. She was completely aware of the contract and surrogacy from the start, yet she nevertheless crossed every line that had been drawn in the sand and had fallen in love with the man she was not allowed to love.
The Alpha looked down at his weeping mate, gently placing his hand on her head.
“Kiara,” she clutched his shirt so tightly that he felt her nails in his skin when he had called her name. The realization hit her like a ton of bricks, jolting her back to reality. What the hell had she just said? She
wished that this was a dream. A nightmare in which she would awaken only to realize that she had not
confessed anything to him. Especially when her idiotic stunt and love confession, would ruin her chance to enjoy a quiet life with her mate for the next three months. If she had truly said that and he
had heard her then she would have missed out on making those memories with him.
“Kiara,” he softly called her again, but this time his arms slipped around her waist, startling the young woman. Was this when he exposed the other side of himself, where he was going to reveal the limits of what it meant for her as a surrogate in his life? Was this the beginning of an unpleasant reality for her of being despised by her mate? She drew back quickly, afraid of him pushing her away and accusing her of being a wicked b***h who used his pup to entrap him.
“I am sorry,” Kiara apologized hurriedly. Xavier watched her getting out of bed quickly.
“Please forget what I just said,” she wiped her tears as she studied her hands.
“I’m sure I’ve completely lost my senses. I didn’t mean to express my love for you. If I had the ability to go back in time, I would never…”
“Shhh…” Kiara gasped when Xavier appeared in front of her, drawing her into his arms, and placing a finger on her lips.
“The words from the mouth and the arrows from the archer never return,” the Alpha murmured as her rosy lips glistened with hunger.
“Even if you went back in time, I will never forget what I just heard. Even after I die,” he declared. The
young she-wolf’s terrified chocolatey eyes were fixed on her husband, who had a strange look in his eyes, one that she could never figure out. What had he just said?
“Why aren’t you ready to forget?” She questioned, his thumb caressed her lower lip seductively. Xavier just watched her body reacting to his touch. She continued when he did not respond.
“Do you…” Kiara paused, frightened of the answer to her own question, but she needed to know, since he wasn’t ready to forget her confession. His response was going to put an end to their relationship.
“Do you hate m….” “Ahh…” Before she could finish her sentence, she whimpered and closed her eyes. Xavier’s lips were
smashed against hers. What was he up to? Her body was hoisted into the air and leaned against the nearby
wall in a split second. They did not interrupt the kiss at any point as it had turned wild and heated. The young woman had forgotten everything as she wrapped her arms around her man’s neck until her lungs begged for air.
Xavier broke the kiss to allow her to breathe properly and to brush away the stray brown hairs that had been obscuring her beauty from his view. Her red cheeks might easily fool everyone into thinking he was being rough while kissing her, but his bleeding lower lip approved of the young she-wolf’s desire and passion. That was what had made her flush.
“Kiara, there’s somewhere I want to take you. Do you want to accompany me?” He wondered, still holding her waist and cradling her to the wall. He had not mentioned the location or area to her, yet his green eyes were eager and impatient to garner a response.
“Yes,” with a slight nod, she responded. Despite the fact that it was late, the young she-wolf had no
inclination to question where he was taking her. She was willing to follow him to the ends of the world as
long as her hand was in his. The Alpha grinned when he saw her eyes light up with trust, as he helped her
to her feet.
“Go and fresh up. It is going to be a long journey.”
Kiara washed her face before changing into a comfy blouse and jeans. She had no clue what type of place they were going to so she opted to put on her shoes before exiting the bathroom, only to be greeted by the well-dressed handsome Alpha. He was dressed in blue trousers, a red t-shirt, and a black jacket, giving him the appearance of a devilish vampire. The small suitcase in his hand was soon noticed by the young Luna. When had he packed that? How quick could this man be?
“Let’s go,” the Alpha motioned for his wife to step ahead of him as he opened the door. Kiara laughed as she hurriedly exited the pack house, where Xavier’s car was already waiting for them.
While watching his brother and sister-in-mate drive out of the pack, Alpha Zander had crossed his arms over his chest. He was standing at the window of his room. He received a message from Xavier on his phone only a few minutes ago. His older sibling’s departure had been announced prior to leaving. Content © NôvelDrama.Org.
“Where are they going this late?” Adira asked. His huge body had obscured everything from her view, Zander observed his little mate sneaking beneath his arms.
“I don’t know,” he took a step back to allow her to stand in front of him. They both stood there watching as the car faded away from their sight.
“Don’t worry, as long as Xavier is with Kiara she will be safe.” “That’s what I would like to think, but your brother is quite mysterious. Are you certain he isn’t
abducting my sister?” Before the Alpha’s large hands gripped Adira’s waist, she peeked over her shoulder
at him.
“Why is it you don’t give a damn about yourself?” Zander inquired, throwing her on the bed, then proceeding to crawl closer to his woman like a predator.
“I wonder how you’d get away from your kidnapper mate?” He smirked as he pounced on her for a kiss. They resumed their play. A big evil wolf and a little she-wolf.
“Do you mind if I open the window?” The young woman shifted her gaze to her husband, asking for permission.
“Of course,” Xavier responded by opening the window from his side as well. They had been on the highway for a while, the car filled with chilly yet fresh air in a flash. The night air was cool, but Kiara loved it so much that she was bouncing up and down in her seat from time to time. She had thoroughly loved the car trip the last time when they went to the Vampire Fort.
“What are you doing?” Kiara noticed that he was switching off his phone.
“I don’t want any disturbances,” he answered, tossing his phone into the rear of the car. The young woman chuckled as she took in the unexpected scene. The man, who usually could only be seen with a laptop and phone if no one else was nearby, had turned off his phone?
“I think you need to fill the tank,” Kiara advised, pointing to the gas meter.
“Yeah, let me know if you see a petrol pump,” Xavier said. A little while later, his car came to a halt at a petrol station approximately 2 kilometers away.
“Do you want some snacks?” Xavier pointed towards the 24-hour convenience store.
“Can we really buy something? Am I really allowed to eat inside your car?” Kiara was surprised by the news. It was past 2 a.m., and this man was truly fulfilling her dreams.
“Yes,” the Alpha handed over his card to her little palm before he saw her running into the store. He
let out a laugh while following her. How could this woman be happy with such little things?
Kiara grabbed a basket to put all her favorite snacks in one by one. Xavier had been watching her while trailing behind her.
“What kind of snacks do you like?” She asked as she bent over to grab her favorite chips packet. While eyeing her round ass, the big Alpha standing behind her was at a loss for words.
“I’ll eat whatever you buy for me,” he said again, subconsciously, as he followed his mate to a place where he had not anticipated her to go.
“How about this?” The young she-wolf showed two ice creams to her man.
“Are you sure you want to eat ice cream at this time?” He wondered, watching her put them in the
basket.
“Yes, I do,” she answered, handing the basket to him before continuing shopping for a few minutes before they sat and enjoyed an ice cream together.
“Why are you eating mine?” Kiara was perplexed, He had neglected his ice cream and continued to eat hers. She had failed to notice him doing it since she had been chatting, but now she had when she realized he had already eaten half of hers. His, however, was not even open.
“Yours tastes more delicious,” he replied, taking one more spoonful.
“Trust me, I feel like I am eating you. I love chocolate,” he commented further while putting the spoon in his mouth. Kiara took a deep breath and swallowed hard, realizing how seductive and provocative his behavior was. It reminded her of how he liked to suck her n*****s, it was the same way he was putting the ice cream in his mouth. She blinked, then hastily averted her gaze.
“Both of the ice creams are the same flavor,” she stated while staring down at her ice cream and placing a spoon in her mouth in an attempt to slow her heartbeat and act casual. Suddenly, she felt his
arm around her waist pulling her closer to him before he pressed his lips on hers.
“For me, it is tastier, Kiara,” Xavier whispered as he licked the ice cream from her lips. Kiara smiled and kissed him back as she closed her eyes and let him eat as he pleased. When their kiss became heated and deep, any individuals surrounding them were completely forgotten. This lovely and sensual time in her life became one of the memories she would cherish for the rest of her life.
They return the car with the bag of snacks. The highway journey had to be continued. Only large vehicles were on the road, thus it was quite empty for speedy driving. Time began to fly by as Xavier and Kiara were conversing. While he was driving, the young Luna would feed the Alpha snacks from time to time.
“I didn’t know that you could stay up so long.” When it got close to 5:00 a.m, Xavier was surprised that she hadn’t complained about the length of the road trip or that, like other women, complained about their back pain and lack of sleep.
“Project work, assignments, examinations, and late night study teach you everything,” the young woman explained as she enumerated the struggles of a student’s life. Xavier chuckled and shook his head.
They chatted about her academic achievements, particularly in arithmetic, which she struggles with. When Xavier stopped getting snacks from Kiara after a while, he turned to peek at her face, only to discover she had already fallen asleep.
She had tried her hardest not to fall asleep while he was driving, which would be considered rude, but in the end deep slumber had drawn her in. Her favorite chips packet was still in her hand, which he took away, allowing her to rest her head on his shoulder.
The rising sun peeked out of the sky as it was the beginning of the full moon day. It had started.
The Luna yawned and cautiously opened her eyes, only to find herself in a new surroundings. After rolling her body on the warm, cozy surface, where was she?
She sat up startled, surprised to find herself in a cozy bed. Was this a bed? Hadn’t she been with her mate in the car? How had she ended up in such a lovely room, but was it someone else’s? She initially sensed danger when she put her foot on the floor, but when she inhaled Xavier’s whiskey and orange scent, she bolted out of the room.
“Oh my Goddess!” the Luna was taken aback when she discovered that she was on a yacht. She continued walking until she realized she was surrounded by nothing but the open sea.
“You wake up,” Xavier’s voice from behind her. She turned around to find her Alpha approaching her, bringing a glass of fresh juice for her and a glass of wine for himself.
“Xavier, am I dreaming? Are we really on a yacht? Surrounded by the ocean?
“It’s not a dream,” he confirmed by passing her the glass of juice. Her chocolaty eyes remained wide as he sat her down on a deck chair.
“I still can’t believe I am here,” she murmured while taking a sip.
“I’ve always wanted to see the endless sea, and today my dream has come true…” she paused, returning her gaze to Xavier, remembering that she had once shared her desire to see the sea with
him.
“Did you… Do you remember my dream? Did you bring me here because I wanted to see the ocean,” she questioned. When he smiled at her, it filled her heart with warmth and affection.
“I remember every little thing about you, Kiara,” Xavier revealed. His emerald gaze was fixed on hers while they exchanged smiles, she felt butterflies in her stomach.
“Come here,” he guided her to the railing so that she could view the variety of gorgeous sea creatures that piqued her curiosity while holding each other’s hands. She could see everything since the water was clear.
“The sea is so beautiful!” Kiara exclaimed, admiring it.
“Yes, it is,” Xavier answered, his gaze falling on her lovely smile and curious eyes. She was like a mermaid who didn’t know what was going on outside of the sea. The young woman’s eyes returned to her husband, who was once again memorizing her face, making her cheeks blush shyly. Had she been acting childishly?
“Umm… what time is it?” She rubbed her cheeks, attempting to change the subject.
“It is past lunch time,” Xavier answered.
“Why didn’t you wake me up!” She gasped, glancing at her watch where it showed the time was 3
.
p.m.
“I woke you once to give you your medicine, and you promptly fell back to sleep. In any case, the Doctor has advised you to obtain a lot of sleep, since only then will the medicine be able to work
properly,” he gave as an explanation. Kiara seemed perplexed. She had slept like a cat, completely oblivious to the fact that he had given her medicine at the time. Her stomach growled in hunger at that point. Xavier looked down at her little tummy, which she instantly clutched in embarrassment. What bad timing!
“Let’s go eat something,” he suggested with a chuckle.
The young she-wolf watched as a big platter of food filled with all the delicious spicy food that she liked. One by one he started to serve it on her plate.
“When did you buy all this?” Kiara wondered, while taking a big bite of the food.
“Before we got onto my yacht, I had ordered one of my men to prepare it in advance,” he explained, causing the young Luna to cough uncontrollably. He encouraged her to drink the juice, which provided her with some comfort.
“Are you okay?” He asked. “What did you say? This is your yacht?”
“Yes,” he replied casually. She had assumed he had rented it the entire time, but it turned out to be her mate’s. They both continued to eat, she smiled and gave a small nod.
The Alpha and Luna had been resting on the comfortable deck lounger for some time. Kiara had closed her eyes and was basking in the sun, her eyes protected by sunglasses. Half an hour went by so fast. while they were talking.
“Do you know how to swim?” He asked..
Kiara took off her sunglasses to see the half-naked Alpha in all his glory there in front of her, with his brows raised and his hand extended to her.
“Yes,” she nodded, then grabbed his hand with hers while eye f*****g his 8 pack abs. She found herself
in the sea in a flash. She hadn’t anticipated a jump!
“I was scared!” She yelled and slammed her fist into his chest. He had forced her to jump with him, which she had never done before. The Alpha chuckled and kissed her on the cheeks.
“You look hot when you get angry,” he admitted while staring at her lips with their chests only a few inches apart.
“Too bad. It is not easy to make me angry,” she smirked, closing the gap between them by a few inches. Under his swim trunks, the Alpha felt his beast awaken.
“Then I will find a way to tease you until you start begging for my touch and c**k,” he shared his evil plan while leaning down to her lips.
“I will make you angry.” “I will make you cry.” “And then I will throw myself at you, until I devour you, in every way.”
Kiara moaned, throwing her head back when he inserted his finger into her already throbbing p***y and licked her mark. His dirty words had really turned her on. She was quickly placed onto the yacht,
where Xavier continued to f**k her nonstop.
Between two rounds of long wild s*x, there was just a 15-minute break. They returned to the room after a few hours, when the sun had vanished from the sky, to have a shower.
“He picked the most beautiful gown for me,” Kiara beamed as she admired herself in the mirror. She realized now that he had packed a dress for her. Was it possible that he had planned all of this ahead of
time?
“Kiara, are you ready?” The Alpha knocked on the door while glancing down at his watch.
“Yes, sorry I took so long,” the young she-wolf replied, by exiting the room. Xavier’s gaze scanned her from head to toe. His green eyes were a great example of eye fucking. In her green explosive gown,
she looked like an angel. He had chosen it specifically so that only he could see her in this sexy gown with its low neckline. Only in front of the Alpha was the Luna allowed to wear such a seductive dress!
“You look absolutely breathtaking,” Xavier placed a soft kiss on her cheek, making the young woman blush more.
“Let’s go,” he said, taking her hand in his. Everything was dark around her as it was night, but Kiara
could see their yacht standing next to the dock at the edge of the water. Her mate was taking her to land. Where were they? It looked like an island.
The yacht was left behind when they walked inside the woods. Kiara lifted her head up to look at the
sky.
“Today is the full moon,” she remarked, taking a deep breath. But the moon had yet to rise. Xavier had stopped walking while he continued listening to her.
“Grandpa had said that this full moon is special for the werewolf community. Everyone’s life is going to change. How, I wonder?” she said, looking back at Xavier, then at a huge beautiful house to the side.
“Wow, whose house is that?” she wondered, looking at its height and beauty.
“It is our house,” Xavier said.
“Ours?” Her surprised eyes snapped to him.
“Yes, let’s go inside,” he led her inside, hand in hand. Kiara’s jaw hung open as she gazed at the mansion that was more gorgeous than the Sirius Bright Pack house. The house appeared to be built for
the Royals.
“When did you buy it?” She questioned.
“Yesterday, when I left after getting a message,” he explained as he escorted her upstairs. They entered a darkroom after traveling through so many rooms that the young she-wolf had forgotten to count. Slowly, Xavier closed the door behind him, letting Kirara roam on her own.
“Why is it dark in here?” She inquired as she continued making her way inside. Venus had come forward in her eyes, assisting her in seeing in the dim light. That’s when Kiara noticed something hung from a thread in front of her. What was it, exactly? She c****d her brow, perplexed by the photo-like
item.
When she realized it wasn’t a photo but a sonogram of her unborn pup, she gaped and covered her mouth with her hand. There wasn’t just one, but a bunch of them. Due to the accident, she’d had far too many check-ups and sonograms, all of those sonograms were there in this room.
“Our baby is so pretty,” Xavier murmured from behind while Kiara was touching one of the sonograms. When she nodded in agreement, her eyes were filled with tears. The moon appeared to be a bit out of place in the sky.
“I’ve chosen to turn this room into a nursery for our pup,” Xavier uttered as a ray of moonlight entered
the room.
“This will be our baby’s room whenever we return here for the holidays.”
“will we come here again?” Kiara was perplexed as she peeked over her shoulder. She had to leave after the delivery, so how could she come back with her pup and mate?
“Yes, We. We will be coming back, Kiara. Our pup, you, and me. We will all be coming here together after you give birth,” he responded. After hearing him, Kiara had a big unexpected smile on her lips. So
was she going to be given the opportunity to return here with the baby? She wouldn’t be able to leave the house for a month after giving birth, which meant that she’d have to return there after that month, right? Would it be possible for her to return with the baby and Xavier before she leaves forever? She might be able to spend some time with the pup.
“Thank you, for letting me…” Kiara’s eyes welled up with tears of gratitude as she thanked him, until the moon rose higher in the sky, allowing her to notice another piece of paper hanging near sonograms that she had previously overlooked.
“The surrogacy contract,” she whispered.
“Why is that here?” She inquired, her gaze falling on Xavier, who had a blank expression on his face. Slowly she understood everything. Why had he brought her here, why had he done all of this. She blinked as she shifted her gaze away from him.
“Did you bring me here because of my confession? You wanted to remind me of my position?” What an i***t she was. She had begun to dream once more. She had forgotten about her role as his surrogate yet again. She had thought he was doing everything for her, but in reality, he was making her happy for the sake of his heir. The surrogacy contract had always been hanging over her head like a sword.
“Haha, you did not have to do this, Xavier,” Kiara laughed half-heartedly, wiping her tears away. It was humiliating.
“I’m aware of what I have signed. If you believe that I will remain in your life, you are mistaken. I won’t even stay the extra two or three months that our contract allows after the delivery,” With a smile, she informed him,
“I will leave the next day, handing your heir over to you.” “Let me just take a sonogram photo with me,” she requested. Her tearful eyes were cloudy enough
that she couldn’t see the contract clearly enough to decide to walk away. The full moon’s bright light shone brightly across the room. She was caught off guard when the contract caught fire.
“What is happening?” She gasped, frantically trying to put the fire out. When her fingers got burned she hissed, but she didn’t stop until Xavier drew her back, forcing her to look at him.
“Let it burn,” he advised. Kiara’s eyes widened in shock when he said that. “Did you… did you burn it?” She asked. Why would he do that? “Yes,” he answered, wiping her tears away.
“Why?”
“Because, Kiara, you’re not going anywhere. Even after you give birth, we’re going to live together. I’ve destroyed the contract. You’re never going to leave me. You are no longer a surrogate. You are the mother of our pup,” he vowed, his gaze fixed on her. Hearing his words made Kiara’s body shiver. Was what she had just heard accurate? He didn’t want to let her go? They wouldn’t reject each other, she wouldn’t have to abandon him and the baby? No, this couldn’t possibly be true.
“Don’t lie! I know you are playing with me! Why would you do that when your aim was only a child from the beginning?” She cried, trying to push him away. Believing he would just make things worse for her. If not now, then later. Xavier tried to hold her, but she was crying uncontrollably. He grabbed her waist
and drew her closer to his chest.
“Because I love you!” He admitted, stopping her movement. Kiara froze in his arms, holding her breath. What did he say? He loved her?
“I love you,” he repeated to help her believe.
“I fell in love with you the first day I saw you at your old pack. Kiara, I never had any intention of letting you go, so I trapped you in that contract. Then, when I found out you were my second chance mate, I
started to push my feelings away but at the end, I lost. I didn’t think I needed to say my feelings loudly. But you scared me when you said you’d leave me in three months. That contract became the reason that I was losing you. I was terrified of losing you,” he revealed. Hearing his love declaration, Kiara let out the shuddering breath that she had been holding. The young Luna eventually blinked, causing her gathered
tears to cascade down her cheeks.
“Now stop crying, Kiara. I hate your tears,” he whispered, wiping her cheeks with his thumbs as the moonlight shone over her through the window. Kiara rubbed her cheek into his warm palm, finally feeling his love.
“You won’t abandon me, will you? Please, Kiara, don’t leave me,” he begged. His face was filled with fear, sadness, and pain. Kiara got to see the real love in Xavier’s eyes that she had been dying to see. Yes, his care and treatment used to give her hints, but when he spoke it aloud and admitted his feelings, he blessed her life. He confessed.
“Never. I will never leave you, Xavier,” Kiara replied, filling Xavier with happiness. “Please say it again, Kiara. Tell me you love me,” he pleaded, looking deep into her eyes. The young
woman smiled. It was not a dream, right?
“I love you, Xavier,” the young woman said, holding her heartbeat.
“I love you too,” he lifted her chin up and crushed his lips into hers. Kiara closed her eyes, kissing him back. She had gotten the love of her life. She had gotten Xavier’s love. Her mate. Her love story had also succeeded.
“You are mine, Kiara. From this moment on there is no way, I am ever letting you go. You can’t run away from me.”
