Unwanted Wife

Chapter 33

Chapter 33

The next day, Thunder was busy signing papers from the company but stop when his secretary

suddenly entered.

"Sir Mr. Davis is already here." the secretary uttered.

"Let him in, thank you," he replied while still looking at the papers.

Later, a man entered his office.

"Goodmorning Sir," he greeted and then sat down in the chair in front of him.

"Do you know my wife, right?" he questioned.

"Yes Sir. What about her? Did you already find her?" the man asked.

Thunder immediately took down the papers he was holding.

"Yes, she's back again with a child. I want you to investigate what happened to Jewel when she was

not here in the Philippines, who she was with and who's her son's father. "

"Don't worry about it, Sir. Tomorrow morning I will send you all the information you are asking for." the

investigator quickly answered.

Thunder smiled because his private investigator said. "Thank you! I can really count you on this. I'll just

send the payment to your bank account once you finish the task."

"No problem, Sir." the latter replied and stood up.

"I need to go. I still have important things to do." The investigator added

"If I know you're only going to your fling, you idiot." Thunder commented and laughed.

"Let's just say, when you're a good looking man, ladies always follow. Anyhow, I'm leaving." The

investigator bid goodbye before finally exiting Thunder's office.

He shook his head at what the visitor said. David is the one he trusted the most. He is a good private

investigator and businessman. The only problem is the private investigator was a womanizer and can't

put himself in one woman.

Jewel, on the other hand, is starting to pay more attention to her son so she could fulfill her

shortcomings. They are together now in the bedroom because she is guiding the child to wear clothes.

They're going to leave and go to the mall due to Storm's request.

"Look at you, my baby boy. You're so handsome." She praised the child.

"I love you, mommy. You are so pretty too."

"So, you're ready? We're leaving." She asked her son with a smile on her face. The child immediately

nodded.

Jewel gave the nanny of Storm a day off because she wanted to be the only one to take care of her

child first.

As they went down the stairs, she saw her parents sitting on the sofa. They are quickly glancing in their

direction. Their faces frown and wonder what's happening between the two mothers.

"What is happening here?" The mother of Jewel asked.

"Where are you going?" the father added.

Jewel laughed at her parents' reaction.

"What's with the look, mom? Dad? It looks like you saw a ghost. Hahahaha. Storm and I are leaving to

take a bonding moment together." She replied while still laughing.

Her mother quickly approached her and touched Jewel's forehead.

"Mom, what are you doing?" She asked while laughing. She removed the mother's hand from her

forehead.

"You're not sick, are you, my daughter? You didn't catch a fever either." The mother commented.

His father sighed first and walked closer to his wife. "Honey, let them leave. Let them have time for

each other first. Don't ask too many questions here."

"Storm, say goodbye to your grandma and grandpa so we can leave."

Her son immediately followed and approached them and kissed their cheeks. "We will have a mother

and son bonding grandma so you don't need to worry about us. Mom is not sick or what. She just really

wants to have time for me." The child whispered to her grandmother and returned to holding Jewel.

"We're leaving mom, dad," Jewel said goodbye and finally walked away with her child.

When the mother and daughter left, they looked at each other. "What happened to your daughter?" the

lady asked her husband.

The gentleman shrugged at his wife's question. "Let her, maybe she woke up in a good sleep so that's

what happened. That would be better so she can recover from her shortcomings to the child." The

husband answered.

The mother of Jewel nodded and walked back to the sofa.

The days passed quickly and Jewel did not have any difficulty in fulfilling her shortcomings to her child.

They were always together and looked like they almost couldn't be separated. The two became even

closer which makes the parents of Jewel rejoice in joy. They can see the happiness in their grandson

Storm.

Jewel couldn't quite imagine that she would feel real joy with her child again. She was very sorry that

only now she realized how important her child is to her. She also realized now why many love the child

is just because of his kindness and being sweet.

Jewel is currently sitting on their sofa while typing on her laptop. Her son is still asleep so she has time

to work. Their housemaids are gone now because she sent them to their homes for a vacation as well

as Storm's nanny. Her parents haven't been home yet because they went to a business conference.

Only she and her son left at home.

While she was busy checking their sales in Canada, someone suddenly rang the doorbell. She frowned

because she didn't know who would visit them at this time. She suddenly thought it might be Cain so

she quickly walked to the door to open it.

She was still smiling as she opened the door.

"Cainnnn." She exclaimed when the door opened.

But the smile quickly faded from her lips after realizing that it wasn’t her friend. It was Thunder. The

person she was avoiding seeing.

"You look disappointed, Jewel. Isn't it because Cain was not the visitor?"

"What are you doing here?" She asked and ignored what the young man said.

"Don't ask me that question, Jewel. I know you knew what my purpose here was." The man says This text is property of Nô/velD/rama.Org.

directly.

Jewel suddenly felt nervous because of what he said. She could tell in the young man's voice the

seriousness of it.

"Shall I come in? Shouldn't you let me in because I am a visitor? You probably don't want us talking out

of your house." He added

Jewel almost got weakened. She felt like she was suddenly weakened because of the person in front of

her.

She let Thunder enter their house.

"What are you really up to, Thunder?" She asked again trying to hide the nervousness she was feeling

right now.

"Do you really want me to answer that question, Jewel? I want an answer! I want the truth!" Thunder

uttered in a strong voice that made her even more nervous.

"W-what do you mean? I-I don't know what you're saying." She denied.

The latter just chuckled. "Really? Why stuttering?" He questioned. "I know you, you knew that. You

can't lie to me." Thunder added.

Jewel didn't know what she would do. She knew she had nothing to escape with this man.

"Is it okay Thunder if you don't have any important thing to say, leave. I still have a lot of things to do."

She said firmly.

"Your son... We look alike, don't we Jewel? What do you think I'm thinking right now?" Thunder asked

seriously.

Jewel swallowed hard after hearing what Thunder said. She knows this day will come and she isn't

prepared for this yet. She knew Thunder was smart so she knew before the man went here to face her,

Thunder already knew it.
