The Divorced Heiress Is Entering a New Marriage

Chapter 262

Chapter 262

“Actually, that’s not enough,” the woman said with a playful tone, glancing at one of the guards. “Hey, you, bring the white box,” she ordered. One of the men quickly went to fetch it and handed it to Jayden. “It’s for you, and I hope you enjoy the place,” she added with a wink.

Jayden was bewildered, but as everyone left him alone, he wondered, “What’s going on here?”

This was definitely the strangest day he’d ever had, but he noticed a new address on the note.

With a sigh, he headed to the new address. Besides, he had nothing else to do and couldn’t reach Deborah on her phone.

By the time he arrived, it was already 3 PM, and he was feeling lonely and hungry.

The address led him to a house, so he parked and tried to enter using the key. Material © of NôvelDrama.Org.

Fortunately, the door opened, though he felt a bit nervous as he stepped inside.

“Hello…” he called out, looking around but finding no one. He ventured further in, carrying the gift box.” Um…//courier?”

He noticed a trail of rose petals on the floor and followed them to a room where a bed was set up, accompanied by a table with candles, food, and a vase with blue roses.

As Jayden admired the roses, someone covered his eyes with their hands.

“Hello, my handsome delivery guy,” a voice whispered in his ear, making him smile as he recognized it.

“Good afternoon, ma’am. I’m here to- Jayden started to joke, turning around to face her, but he was left ‘speechless when he saw Deborah wearing a red lingerie set and a white robe.

“You’re here to deliver my package. Thank you so much,” Deborah said in a seductive tone, taking the box.

“Yes… um, I think I forgot the delivery slip and-”

“1 understand. I hope you’re not too tired from all the deliveries.”

“You’re naughty. You had me running around everywhere,” Jayden complained, seeing her smile.

“It wasn’t intentional, hehe. It was the condition I had to meet to rent this house with a jacuzzi,” she said, placing the box on a chair and opening it. “But it was worth it,” she continued, pulling out a bouquet of white and blue roses to give him.

“Huh?”

“Happy Valentine’s Day, my love,” she said, handing him the flowers along with a leather box.

“Wow… but…”

“What? You’re not annoyed that the roles are reversed?”

“It’s a funny surprise, but I must admit, diamonds and I don’t really get along.” he said, opening the leather case to find a white gold heart–shaped keychain.

“Yeah, I know, but I knew you were looking for a new keychain, and this one is special,” she said, showing

that it was a locket with photos of her and James inside.

“True, now my keys will be more special,” he said, admiring the keychain. “But I did try to do something special for you and-”

“I know.”

“What?”

“I know about your plans, but I told everyone to stop you because it was my turn to surprise you.”

“So… ah! You sneaky people, you’re all traitors.”

“Not really, because if you remember, it was my turn to surprise you this time.”

“Right, and what a surprise it is,” he said, using a flirtatious tone as he pulled her into a hug and kissed her on the lips.

“And you haven’t seen everything I’ve prepared for today.”

“Grr…”
