CHAPTER 16
Wedding?
Aurora’s mind went momentarily blank.
Then her thoughts traced back to her wedding with Damien-No, actually, there was no wedding at all.
When they discovered their mate-bond, The Ravenwoods shipped her to Damien’s palace like a piece of cargo. She moved into the Luna’s suite and that was it.
No celebration. No party. No wedding gowns and rings. Nothing.
But Damien loved Chloe dearly. There must be a wedding of a century this time.
“Baron!” Damien snapped. “You have crossed the line here!”
“But Alpha…”
“No, it’s fine.” Aurora spoke up in a rather calm voice. “First of all, Alpha Damien, congratulation.”
Damien froze briefly.
Her calm gaze pierced his heart.
“Aurora.” He said in a h**e voice, trying to explain. “It’s nothing like what Baron said. I…”
Yet Aurora had turned away from him.
She slightly leant forward and braced his hands on the table, staring at Baron, “So you don’t want to my soldiers in your pack?”
Baron puffed his chest, “Yes! And I have laid out my reasons!”
“F**g ridiculous.” Aurora said with an icy chuckle, “Since when does Silver Blade Pack let their G**a make all
the decisions?”
“You-!” Baron looked furious. “You are a G**a yourself! And you have been blabbering nonstop and making all the decisions this all morning!”
“I represent my Alpha. Can you represent your Alpha? Stop interrupting me if you don’t have that kind of power!”
Baron’s face turned purple. He was about to burst into roars when Damien’s Beta Justin tugged at his sleeve
Baron turned around and found Damien staring at him coldly.

Damien’s sharp gaze rendered him afraid.
Shivering slightly, Baron lowered his head and sat back without a word.
“What do you say, Alpha Damien?” Eden pursued.
Damien focused his gaze on Aurora and nodded, “We’d be happy to host it.”
“Fantastic! It settles then.”
Lance clapped his hands together and stood up, laughing:
“We will bring our soldiers into Silver Blade Pack half a month later. In the meantime, please feel free to explore Ever Moon Pack!”
The meeting was dismissed, and everybody filed out of the room.
Damien was dragged behind by Lance negotiating some details about the training.
When they finally moved out of the meeting room, they found Aurora talking to Alpha Jared from Grey Claw Pack in the hallway.
“This is my first time in the Ever Moon Pack,” Jared said briskly to Aurora. “I must say you’ve got quite a scenery
here.”
“Indeed,” Aurora nodded, smiling politely. “Many tourists pour into our pack during the summer. We are famous: for our lakes and waterfalls.”
Jared was encouraged by Aurora’s friendly attitude and moved even closer to her.
He flashed his baby-blue eyes and asked in his s**y, slightly h**e voice, “You seem to know a lot about Ever Moon Pack.”
“Of course I do. This is my hometown.”
*Then what about Silver Blade Pack? Do you know much about that place?” Jared pursued eagerly. “Nevertheless, you spent the most your life in Silver Blade Pack as Alpha Damien’s Luna, didn’t
you?”
Damien suddenly got a nervous feeling.
He was anxious to hear Aurora’s answer to that…How she felt about Silver Blade Pack…
“I have put everything about Silver Blade Pack behind me,” said Aurora coldly.
“The place? Or the people as well?”
“Everything”
The corner of Jared’s lips lifted into a charming smile as he said, “Fabulous.”
Damien’s heart sank
A feeling of lost surged up in his chest.
“Well, well, well…
Lance crossed his arms and turned to Damien, smirking:
“Seems like Aurora’s admirers are lining up right now. Look at my sister. Who can resist her charm?”
Damien clenched his fists.
He suddenly strode forward and walked up to the talking couple. He was just in time to hear Jared’s invitation when he came close:
…So may I take you to one of those waterfalls? I would like to have a local to show me around
Aurora smiled and was about to say something when Damien came in between them abruptly.
“You shouldn’t ask her.”
Damien kept Aurora behind his back and faced Jared with a cold look.
“There are tour brochures everywhere I can ask my men to send you a copy if you are too s**d to find one yourself.” He gritted.
Jaret snorted.
“Damien Albright, sharp and mean as ever,”
Jared tilted his head, glancing past his shoulder to look at Aurora, “Thank you for your advice but I am talkin G**a Aurora here. Can you leave us alone please?”
Aurora walked out from Damien’s back and smiled, “I am happy to show you around, Alpha Jared. The wea should be nice tomorrow. Shall we hike to the Great Waterfall tomorrow morning at 7?”
“Great!” Jared beamed.
Damien’s face was twisting in rage.
He suddenly grabbed Aurora’s shoulder, spined her around and blurted out to her face:
“Are you out of your mind? This guy is a f**g p**yb*y! He will only break your heart! Do you want to get rejected, AGAIN?”
His angry roar echoed in the hallway.
Aurora’s face turned dark.
Jared looked back and forth between the two of them and suddenly burst out laughing:
“Don’t be ridiculous Damien! Who is s**d enough to reject Aurora? Oh wait…that idiot is you.”
Then he gently rescued Aurora’s wrist from Damien’s grip.
“Keep your hand to yourself.”
He said to Damien, half-threatening, half-joking.
“We all know that you are a strong Alpha. There is no need for you to demonstrate your strength on a lady.”
Aurora ignored Damien and looked Jared, “So tomorrow at 7?”
Jared blinked, “It is a date.”
“Awesome!” Lance squeezed himself in between the 3 of them and laughed, “Count me in! I can’t miss a trip to the Great Waterfall!”
The three of them walked away together, talking excitedly about their plans for tomorrow.
Damien stood frozen on his spot.
There was a dark, gloomy look on his face as he stared at their backs…
The next morning.
Aurora got up early and refreshed herself.
She put her hair into a high ponytail and put on her sport bra and leggings.
When she moved downstairs, her best friend Rivena had been waiting for her at the lobby.
Rivena was a female warrior at Ever Moon Pack.
She and Aurora became closest friend soon after Aurora was claimed back to Ever Moon Pack & months ago.
Last night when Rivesa heard about the trip to the Great Waterfall, she enthusiastically volunteered to tag along Aurora agreed with pleasure.Text © owned by NôvelDrama.Org.
She knew that Rivena had a secret crush on her brother Lance. She had been trying to fix them up for a while.
While they waited for Jared and Lance to show up, Aurora told Rivena about what happened the other day during the meeting.
Sure enough, Rivena turned furious.
“Oh my g****d that Damien is such a jerk!” Rivena clenched her fists and snapped, “He rejected you for that tr**p Chloe and tossed you to the rogues. And now what? He is suddenly not happy with you hanging out with Jared?! think he can go f**k himself!”
Aurora shrugged, “That is just classic Damien.”
When she was still his Luna, she often got confused by Damien’s constant mood-swings. He often got angry over something that she never did and gave her the cold shoulder.
Luckily for her now, she didn’t have to guess his thoughts anymore.
“So what is his deal then?” Rivena nudged at Aurora, “You wouldn’t think that he still loves you and wants to claim you back now?”
“No way. He clearly likes Chloe now,” Aurora said firmly. “And I’d never agree to that.”
“That is the spirit. You are a princess, a G** now. You have everything in the world. You deserve a much better man than Damien
Rivena suddenly froze.
She looked over Aurora’s shoulder and murmured in frustration, “…OH what the hell?”
“What? Are they here?”
Aurora turned around following Rivena’s gaze.
A tall, handsome man dressed in sportswear with a hiking bag on his back just walked into the lobby. He easily became the center of every girl’s attention when he appeared.
But that was not Lance nor Jared.
It was Damien.

Damien walked over to Aurora and Rivena. When he received their hostile glares, he casually raised an eyebrow
and said:
“I am tagging along. That is fine with you. Right?”
